Firestreak awoke finally, glancing around, slightly confused that he had chosen to sleep outside the Warrior's den, instead of inside. He shook his head, standing, arching his back in a stretch. Firestreak glanced around once more, sighing at the lack of activity, sitting back down, staring forward blankly, bored once more.

"Auburnpaw did well in her assessment," meowed Thorntail. Blackshadow added, "So did Amberpaw." They exchanged a glance and said that the same time, "They're ready to be warriors."

Spottedstar nodded in satisfaction and jumped up onto the Highrock to make the announcement.

Amberpaw, who had ice blue eyes, was hastily grooming herself, while Auburnpaw, who had dark green eyes, pricked her ears and sat up straighter. They both knew that Thorntail didn't give praise lightly.

As the Clan gathered around, Spottedstar turned his gaze upon the two excited apprentices. He mewed, "I, Spottedstar, Leader of ThunderClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on these two apprentices. They have trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend them to you as warriors in their turn. Amberpaw, Auburnpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend this Clan, even at the cost of your lives?" He waited for the two cats to respond...

Amberclaw bowed her head in a sort of 'I understand' kind of way. Auburnpelt nodded in calm acceptance. Streamflower turned abroptly and let out a shocked cry when she saw how low the sun was. "Spottedstar, the Gathering!"

Spottedstar's ears perked. "Already?!" he meowed. He jumped off the Highrock and mewed, "Firestreak, Streamflower, Bloodspill, Claw, Smokepaw, and Snowpaw, you're coming with me. Sparrowpaw and Frostpaw can come to the next one." Smokepaw cheered and raced after his father, who headed for the exit of the camp.

Snowclaw was now out of the nursery, carrying out the duties he had left behind. He mewed happily as he moved twigs and rocks out of the way of the warriors den. He helped in a small hunting trip and he Stood watch at the camp entrane, continueing his mewes and purs of happiness

Bloodspill bounded along beside Snowpaw, having challenged the younger she-cat to a race. They flashed between the trees and bramble bushes. When the arrived, they saw that RiverClan was already there. Flarestar was already on her branch in the Great Oak, while her cats were sharing tongues or talking quietly. "Greetings, Spottednose," one warrior called. "Where's Shadowstar?"
