ShadowStripe stood at the left corner of the semi-circle, narrowing his eyes. He glanced around, before returning to his current postition, watching SaberClaw perform his actions. ShadowStripe wondered if he could, one day......be the Deputy...or even Leader....of ShadowClan.
When you want it the most there's no easy way out

"Tell you what," a silver tabby RiverClan she-cat purred. "Give us the information we need, and nobody gets hurt." Bloodspill took one look at the advancing warriors and braced herself to jump. "No!" the tom's commanding yowl sounded above the other cat's insults. "We need her alive mouse-brains!" The warriors stopped. Bloodspill stared long at Firestreak, her eyes soft with some unreadable emotion, before she finally meowed, "See you back at the Gathering." She sprang into the water with a splash, bounded through the shallows until she reached an island and dissapeared into the shadows. "Fox dung!" one cat snarled. "We'll never catch her now, Darkheart."

Hawksight's eyes widened. "What does it mean?" she murmured, mostly to herself.
Bloodspill didn't know how long she was running for. It could've been minutes, or moons. All she knew was that she was suddenly back at the Gathering and had cannoned into a black tom with dark ginger stripes. "Sorry," Bloodspill gasped, getting to her paws. She was still dripping wet from her desperate bid for freedom. She clawed her way up a tree and crouched there, shivering.

Loneclaw mewed, annoyed. "Well, Snowclaw was supposed to let Spotted Star figure it ut. Snowclaw snarled "I had to tend to my mate! WHY DIDN'T YOU SEND SPOTTED STAR THE MESSAGE!"
Loneclaw snapped "STARCLAN TOLD ME TO TELL YOU! MAYBE YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO FIGURE IT OUT!"

The kits started mewling, their terrified cries leading Hawksight to cover their ears in comforting licks. She would've snapped at Loneclaw and Snowclaw, but it seemed this was a family moment.

Blackstar glanced at Sabercalw with slight amusement as another cat bowled him over. Then he turned back to Spotted nose, waiting on an answer. Saberclaw snarled in anger and bounded over to the tree where the female was hideing in He growled "Who the??? What the hell?" He was seriously annoyed

Firestreak arrived back at the Gathering, confused to no end. He shook his head, padding off back toward where the other Thunderclan cats stood, giving the ShadowClan cats a passing glance. Firestreak shook his head once more, still many questions to be answered, the gray tom sitting down, glancing around nervously, not sure what was going to happen next...

"Up here," Bloodspill hissed loudly, seeing Firestreak. She ignored the cat she'd knocked over, watching in alarm as the RiverClan cats stormed back into the Gathering, muttering angrily.

ShadowStripe glanced at BlackStar, before smirking as a she-cat bowled SaberClaw over. He looked around, seeing lots of cats, one in paticular, a gray tom. ShadowStripe looked at him for a moment before spitting at nothing.

Firestreak looked up, bounding over to the tree, climbing it swiftly. He sat down on a branch, staring at Bloodspill. What in the name of StarClan is going on?! Firestreak mewed quietly, not able to hide his confusion any longer, glancing down at the RiverClan cats, making sure he was hidden in the tree.

Bloodspill gave her shoulder an embarrassed lick. "Er...that gray tom...Darkheart is his name...is after precious information I was ordered to give to...a certain cat," she meowed, keeping her voice low and choosing her words carefully.

Snowclaw released Loneclaw from his grip and then walkedover to the frightened kits. He rubbed thier backs wih his paws. "Well, we must name this kit." It looked like Hawksight and Snowclaw thought the name Eagle Eye would fit as a name. He then thought how they will fight with each other like Snowclaw does with Loneclaw.

Bloodspill dug her claws into the branch and muttered something inaudible, then went on more clearly, "Information about..." She closed her eyes, pained. "About one of our cats. He...he died before I could deliver my message to the only one who could've saved him." The black she-cat drew a shaky breath and continued, "We were a small band of cats, my friends and I. None of us knew anything about herbs or healing. So when any of us fell ill...we left the cat behind. None of the others seemed to regret their decisions." Bloodspill shook her head, forcing back a yowl of anguish.
Hawksight nodded. She looked at Loneclaw, then at Snowclaw, and mewed, "Eaglekit."

Bloodspill sheathed and unsheathed her claws again, tearing up the bark beneath her paws. "Darkheart was one of us," she muttered. "And they want to know what his life was like." She drew another breath, let it out in a quiet sigh, and finished, "Under my leadership."
