Claw yowled to her back, "Says the squirrel!" He snickeredf and leaped down from the tree, padding into the camp and grabbing a mouse off the fresh-kill pile.

"That's right...I'm a squirrel!" Bloodspill screeched at Claw, barely resisting the urge to laugh as she snatched a vole from the fresh-kill pile. She was aware of the odd looks she was getting from the other Clan cats.

Claw rolled his eyes again, then tossed the mouse in the air, intending to catch it. Instead, it landed across his eyes, He lowered his head and the mosue slid over his muzzle, allowing his eyes to peek over.

Firestreak arched an eyebrow at Bloodspill's words, deciding against asking. He turned back to his watch, once again bored, glancing around more to find something to do then to watch the clan. Firestreak stood, padding off toward the warrior's den, sitting down outside, trying to listen in on the other clan cats' conversations, just to have something to do.

Bloodspill padded past Firestreak on her way into the den. Seeing the look he gave her, she dropped her vole and meowed, "What? I'm part squirrel now."

Claw slowly walked toward the den, trying the keep the mouse on his snout and walk at the same time, passing Bloodspill and Firestreak.

So I've heard... Firestreak mewed, smirking. He turned back to watch a pair of cats, leaning forward to try and hear what they were saying. Seeing Firestreak, the cats gave him an odd look before padding away, the gray tom coughing uncomfortably, pulling his head back, shrugging nervously.

Bloodspill cuffed Firestreak over one ear and meowed, "The deputy eavesdropping? Never thought I'd see the day. Of course, I'm part squirrel, so I probably won't see another day. Life is THAT cruel." She snagged her vole on one claw and tossed it onto the air, catching it in her jaws and hiding her smirk in the process.

Firestreak looked at Bloodspill, surprise showing in his gaze, never really seeing the she-cat act this way. Turning away, he glanced at a few other cats near the fresh-kill pile, wanting to know what they were talking about, but decided against it, knowing it was boredom-driven.
