The pack had entered the forest. It was as if a drum was beating out a rythem as they ran through the trees climbing jumping and barking. They eventually met up with Xanther who told them that the oviraptors had started killing indiscriminately. He also told them of the stream they depended on, it was one that ran past a large rock, the rock they had advised Steeltalon to jump off. That would be a prime spot for their ambush.

Steeltalon slowly looked around. Every rustle in the brush made her tense, ready for a fight. She was waiting patiently for Fatalis to respond. She had told him everything she knew. Well, almost everything. "One more thing," she growled. "If these raptors ARE from Riptide's old pack, they're no pushovers. That pack wiped out almost every other pack they saw as a threat." Steeltalon glanced around edgily. "I have a question for you: Did any of those mutants you say want kill us look like any of the descriptions I gave you?"

Fatalis hissed "Well, 2 of them are similar to the descriptions you gave me, but if they were his pack, they wouldn't have called him an ally. i'm assuming they may be related to his previous pack. one of them had a scar going down his face, like Whiplash, but he wasn't completely grey. he had a red back with a white stripe splitting the grey and red. the other, which had black quills on his hed like Red Death, wasdn't completely red. he had a grey underside. the 3 femaled were all white with yellow eyes and black spots". he looked to the right, then to the left, just to make sure everything was clear. it was ,though the recent confrontation had caught him off guard, and he didn't intend to have that happen to him again...

Steeltalon relaxed. "Great, now he's got kin?" she muttered. "Whenever you're ready." She was itching to move out, not at all ready to just stand around while raptors were threatening to kill her.

[Stallordasaurus Rex]

Shadow entered the forest hoping for a shady spot"its hot today..."Shadow sat under a tree deep in the forest"Shade.."Shadow layed down enjoying his shade.

Diablo bit onto the neck lightly, and as Crusher told, he forced more jaw power on it slowly.

[The Kingpin]

Crusher smiled as the Para slowly stopped struggling, before stopping all together. Crusher growled "Good. These are all the things i'll teach you today. in a week's time, meet me at the same area in your territory, and we'll have the next lesson. next time, we'll try some active combat, without trying the more lethal tactics, like the neck bite i just showed you. It'll be gentle combat, so that neither of us is wounded. we dont want our combat skill to be reduced if a real attack occurs, right?". Crusher then bit onto the spine of the Para, crushing it and killing it instantly. he then bit off one of the legs, dropped it and growled "Keep the rest. i need to eat something. my family's already eaten, but i need food". Crusher then picked up the leg, and started walking...

Meanwhile, Fatalis and Steeltalon had started moving. they both knew that Crusher was probably busy, so they decided to avoid telling him immediately. they would go to Blade's pack first, let them know of the situation, and then see if Blade and Exile would be kind enough to send a messenger to inform Crusher, to make sure he was on his guard. another kidnapping was liable to end up in a bloodbath like nothing that has ever faced the island...
Fatalis and Steeltalon arrived at a large cave, with 4 raptors guarding the entrance, only partly visible. as Fatalis came close, a couple came out and confronted him. they soon realised who he was and let him through. they felt uncomfortable with Steeltalon, but Fatalis assured them she was safe to have around, and that they were at as much risk from her as they were from Exile. they calmed down, and let her pass, and the 2 headed towards the 2 waiting Alpha Raptors...

Exile and Blade waited patiently for Fatalis and Steeltalon. When the two raptors arrived, Exile first greeted them with a polite bark. "Welcome to the cave, my dear friend. What kind of news do you bring us?" Both she and Blade waited patiently for an answer.

SharpClaw curiously looked up to see the newcomers. She wondered who the two raptors were and wondered how Exile came to know one of them.

Steeltalon carefully chose her words. "Not good, I'm afraid," she began uneasily. "A pack of mutants want Fatalis, me and you both dead." She looked down at the ground for a minute before regaining her confidence. "Fatalis says they're from your old pack, but I know nothing of this. I'll wait outside while you talk." She stood back to let Fatalis speak. He was most at ease with these raptors, while Steeltalon was uncomfortable. She could tell they were unsure of where her loyalties lay because of her skin coloring. She backed slowly out of the cave and settled down. This could take a while.

SAndstorm watched the oviraptor run off into the trees and then looked down at the other oviraptors corpse below him. It had started. They had ambushed the two while they were drinking, leaving one to run home and spread the panic, and as a message, that all the oviraptors would die. He looked at Softfoot and hissed," is this really the best way to get our land back". She looked at him and hissed mournfully "Sadly my freind it is the only way."
They turned and made their way through the trees back to their camp.

Fatalis hissed "They have proven to me that now they want to kill you, me, Blade and my friend, Steeltalon. 5 of them surrounded me as i got near one of the Lone Wolves' meeting spots, and nearly killed me. i was lucky i had reacted as fast as i did. if it wasn't for that, i wouldn't be here right now. i overheard them talk about how they now wanted to kill Steeltalon as well as us, because she killed Night, a skilled raptor and an ally that they apparently needed to find out how to make sure i couldn't escape. why exactly he was so important, i still dont know. but i do know we are all in danger as long as they are still free. it's either them, or us. i think it would be helpful if Crusher knew. If i remember correctly, he was one of the predators responsible for the death of the largest mutant raptor pack on the island, at the burnt human structures to the north east. if he managed to kill them, he's probably the only single predator who can take on their pack, and that's IF they haven't grown since when we were in the pack". Fatalis noticed that another Raptor had joined them. it was a female, and she looked like one of the more important raptors in the pack, judging by the way she walked. she had a feel of confidence that was usually only found in Alpha Raptors, so that meant she had alot of experience, and was high in the pack's chain of command. he waited for one of the Raptors to respond...

Meanwhile, Crusher skeletonised the Para leg, and started heading home. a storm was brewing, the clouds turning grey. he upped the pace, so that he'd reach the nest sooner...

Shadow woke.He got up and looked around."why am i always hungry?"Shadow saw a lone triceratops in the field.Shadow grunted and stalked across the feild toward the Tri. He charged and bit the Tri behind the frill.The tri charged him and impaled his hip.Shadow roared loudly in pain and bit the tri behind the frill and locked down and shook the Tri's neck violently and killed it.He tore open then Tri's belly and started eating.

Sorry it's been a while since I last posted, but I'm back for now...

Sickle's stopped and leaned against a tree, waiting for himself to stop panting and his legs to stop aching. His eyes were drooping, and he felt himself ready to fall where he stood, but Sickle tried to will himself on. I need to get there, The young Utahraptor thought. I need to find a territory for myself. But as Sickle felt his eyelids fluttering, he realized that he wasn't going to win the fight to stay awake. I might as well get to sleep. I can't defend a territory if I'm about to fall asleep on my feet.

Steeltalon shifted positions and looked up at the sun. She wondered how the raptors knew about Night. She knew she had seen a pair of eyes when she had killed Night, but had thought nothing of it at the time. Now she was sure they had belonged to one of the mutants. Steeltalon knew from experiance, where there was one mutant, there were usually about four more of them close by. She stood up and took a good look around. If Crusher had been at the Game Trail, he was probably on his way home now.

If only I got a good look at those mutants, Steeltalon thought. I could probably understand if they were related to Night and Riptide's pack members or not. But still...they wouldn't stay put long enough for me to identify them. Hell, it's not going to be easy if it comes to a fight. From what Fatalis told me, they **** near caught him off guard. If they're that stealthy, I might be being watched right now. She took a look around her again.

"**** it all," she cursed out loud. "These raptors are probably the children of Riptide's pack. What i can't understand though is how Whiplash's son inherited his scar. And Red Death... His and Amberclaw's, no doubt. That one with black quills is the only one I'm concerned about. Him and the gray one with the scar are definately the hatchlings from Riptide's pack."

A large group of oviraptors entered a small clearing, there was clear signs that the raptors had stayed here. After a small serach, one Oviraptor approached the leader and growled " We cant pick up their scent, all I can smell is compy blood, spread out in circle around this clearing" The leader hissed back confused "but whay would they spread compy blood.........." then it dawneds on him but too late, a black coloured raptor leaped out of a tree with a screech followed by 5 other raptors all in the widest varity of colours, this was the oddist pack he had ever seen, but from a discription given too him by an oviraptor who claimed too have fought the raptors he knew that the two raptors who had steped out were the leaders, the male named clawfsit, he wasnt sure about the others. The male raptor hissed at him "Go, get out of here now.... Go to with your pack and find a new territory far away from here. If you stay we will disappear into the trees and kill you one by one." the leader was scared and shocked, they were demanding that they just pack up and leave! But the raptors threats were real, and if they sprung another ambush smiliar to this they would be killed. Just then a Oviraptor who had originally lived in this forset before joining the pack came foreward and growled "We will fight too defend our pack as long as we live" he said it with a strong degree of authority, unerving some of the raptors but the seocond raptor, the female stepped foreward and hissed "Defend? ha! Is attacking our home killing our freinds and destroying our eggs my chil....." The other raptor stopped her before she continued and then he growled "You attacked us first, and we are letting tou live now get out of here before I take revenge for the desturction of our eggs" It was now clear to all the oviraptos that this pack of raptors was angry, they were very angry each one of them looked ready to go on a mass rampage of murder. The leader oviraptor stepped back and without a word motioned for the pack to leave and the did.


Watching the pack go, softfoot hissed "I cant belive we are letting them live. But I see your point they could easily kill one of us." The pack, even though they had won the forset back without fighting, they felt that they had lost. The memorys of the oviraptors destroying their eggs remained bitter inside them and they went too sleep without a word.

Description: He is brown with white stripes on his back with a green, yellow and red spotted belly.

TT screams: 91 feet long!?!? No way! Fix it or i'll do it myself.

Exile looked at him in surprise, and Blade hissed "Well, i think Crusher needs to know about this, first and foremost. Mutants have a habit of hitting an enemy's friends to get to them, and chances are, they know that we're allied to him. If we want to have any chance of killing them and keeping them away, we're going to need to stick together for a while. Your skilled, Fatalis, but not enough to take them by yourself. you'll need to stay with us until we've solved this problem, and Steeltalon as well, if she chooses to survive. we'll need to double our sentries at the entrance, and kill them on sight...". "No" interrupted Fatalis. "Not on sight. they could use it to their advantage and lure us into a trap". after a bit of thinking, Blade growled "Your right. but we cant let them come near the cave entrance. I suggest you attempt to contact the Lone Wolves, and let them know about this. they're all quite skilled and may be able to help in getting rid of these monsters". Fatalis nodded, then asked what the highest point nearby was. Blade told him a couple of kilometers away, there was a clearing on a hill where he could go to, but he'd need escorts. Fatalis shook his head, and hissed "This wont take long. i'll soon be finished, and back. it wont take long at all". he then went to the mouth of the cave before the raptors could say anything, and went to Steeltalon, and hissed "Let's contact the Wolves"...

Steeltalon blinked and nodded. She was deeply troubled by her realizations, but said nothing. If she did, it might alarm him or worse, get them both killed. She couldn't shake the feeling that they were still being watched.

(Alright we seriously need a guide to good RPing and character development. The size is not the only problem I see with that Character.)

Diablo waited till Crusher left ten helped himself to the Para. He dug in ravenously, tearing at flesh and bone. It had been good training, and this was his way of a victory dance. Diablo finally finished and left the area, Compies came out from the forest and scavenged the left overs.

[Legendary Elite]

Name: Larius, Largetooth/Largefang
Age: 36
Species: Giganotosaurus
Length: 18m
Height: 24 feet
Weight: 5.2 tons

Personality: Cunning as well as powerful. He feels dominant over many of the animals on the island. He is wise and can be patient a lot of the time if needed to prepare himself for an ambush.

Description:
Larius is an adult bull Giganotosaurus. He maybe one of the largest predators on Isla Sorna but still has competition with Spinosaurus and Tyrannosaurus. Though he maybe dumber than T-Rex, he is larger and cunning and will hunt with others of his own kind if needed to take down a kill. Larius has had experience in bringing down sauropods as well. He finds his best food source besides Argentinosaurus are other sauropods and duck-billed dinosaurs. If he finds another predator making a kill that is smaller, he will simply walk in and push them aside. His colour is mostly green which gives him good camouflage to stay hidden when hunting and is covered with red along his head as well as yellow stripes along his neck. His eyes are green too. No one knows why he is such a large height. But they know that he is possibly the largest Giganotosaurus on Isla Sorna.
