Goldfang liked the Decoy plan. "Yes, the decoy idea i think is best suited. But first we need plan out the strategy. However, I am first gonna need 10 raptors patrolling around and keep an eye out for anybody who dares to foil with our plans." He barked. 10 of the raptors dispatched themselves from the meeting and took up patrolling points. "Ok, first I recommend we find a good area with enough trees for the lighter raptors, preferably an area like this. Like what Steeltalon said herself. We throw in the decoys to lure each raptor into here. Then when each raptor passes through the trees, that is when the ones hiding in the trees shall pounce on their backs and paralyze them. However, if some manage to escape, we should have the Lone Wolves that specialize in Strength be waiting there so as to pounce on. Now should this plan work then we should get rid of all of them to the last raptor. If we fail, well let's just say we might loose a lot of our numbers. But I am quite sure if this will work." The Lone Wolves all seemed to like the plan...

Larius turned around to Crusher. "Actually Crusher, I already brought down an Argentinosaur. Of course I had help from these Giganotosaurs here. They have now accepted me as a pack leader to their clan here." He growled. The other adult gigas seemed to be alarmed at the sight of the enormous Tyrannosaur. But with Larius around it seemed less of a worry.

Steeltalon nodded. She had support from Goldfang, but she wanted to know what Fatalis thought. She blinked and looked at him curiously. "I won't do anything without your support," she growled. "You know as well as I do that we need every raptor that is able to help. So...what do you think, Fatalis?" She turned to Sandstorm and Softfoot. She was reluctant about what she was about to say.

"This plan won't work without you two," she hissed in an undertone. "For now, it doesn't matter what happened in the past. If Fatalis says yes, you're going to have to trust me."

After a few hours when it was early morning and Destrelius and Mimic had not had enough from their last meal and were still hungry, Destrelius took Mimic to a game trail for some food. They saw a small herd of triceratops, there was a lone sick triceratops and the others about 20 feet off from it. Destrelius told Mimic to follow but stay a bit back so she would not get injured. Destrelius burst out of some trees and charged down the sick triceratops, but the herd was moving to defend the sick before Destrelius got to it. But Destrelius reached it with Mimic behind, she put her foot on its head pushing it to the ground and bit at its neck, but the herd had moved around Destrelius in a semi circle. An adult charged at Destrelius from the right and caught her in the right leg as one charged from the left and caught her in the left leg. Destrelius lifted her foot off the dieing sick triceratops but was charged again and hit underneath the stomach. Destrelius was terrified with the behavior of this herd, they were extremely aggressive. She let out a low bellow and she started to limp finding it hard to stand up. Destrelius let of a mind blowing sickening roar that reached far and wide the roar made the triceratops herd start to scatter. Mimic started to realize that Destrelius had roared for her final time. The large carnivore hit the ground with a loud blow, her life over...

Crusher nodded, and growled "Very well. I will see you later, Larius. i have some hunting to do". he then turned and walked away. Larius had found a pack. less trouble for him, and possibly a more powerful ally, as long as the Gigas didn't turn on him. Crusher left for the Argentinosaur herd visible in the distance. it was early, and the few Argentinosaurs which were awake were slow and wouldn't likely be able to fight him off. he stayed under the cover of the trees as he went around the herd to where a rather small but adequate sized Argentinosaur was resting. perfect target thought Crusher. he watched as the herd started moving towards the trees on the opposite side of the small clearing. this Argentinosaur was about his size, and was still sleeping, leaving it's back about knee height with him. he moved forward as the young Sauropod awoke, and lunged forward with a mighty roar, echoing throughout the valley. his bite crushed it's spine easily, paralyzing it. he moved over to the neck and head, where it's vulnerable head lay. Crusher slammed his head down into the skull of the Sauropod, killing it in a single, skull crushing blow. Crusher then roared victoriously, and started to drag the Sauropod away slowly, the Argentinosaur herd terrified and forced against the opposite side of the clearing, watching the massive Rex drag away a youngster. about an hour later, Crusher had reached the nest, a massive trail of fallen trees behind him as the massive Sauropod's body was to wide to fit between the trees. Crushr growled "Hungry?", with a grunt. he was tired, but satisfied. he rarely took on Argentinosaurs for this very reason; they were difficult to drag back to the nest. but it was good exercise, and the fact that he'd managed to drag it back this time while other times he had failed, ment that he was getting stronger. he was proud of this little achievement. the Argentinosaur was probably one and a half times his weight, so being able to drag it all the way back to the nest was no sall achievement...

Fatalis hissed "i support the plan, but we're missing one major thing. these raptors dont stay in one place, and i dont know where they live. they're travellers. they go all over the island, and rarely stay in one place for more than a few days. they also rarely move alone. i know them. they wont leave the pack in anything smaller than pairs. they dont move alone. that makes it more difficult for us. we may not be able to lure them in". Saberclaw looked at him, trying to think of a solution...
"Ah yes, organised chaos. the sign of a clever but ever-busy mind. To the perpetrator, a carefully woven web of belongings and intrigue, but to the bystander? Madness!"

Larius had a pack of Gigas and suprisingly was their leader. 2 of them were females, and seemed to be the oldest in the pack. The other three, being males were younger but only by a short way off. The pack it seemed were the most feared on the island. Not even Tyrannosaurs would fight them. These Gigas were the most experienced in their territory. The females were almost ready to lay their eggs and so is why the pack moved into Crusher's territory, the area was perfect for nesting and the area was alive with Sauropods that could easily be killed. Now with Crusher, it seemed that the territory would be clear of the larger predators. Larius was the perfect pack leader for them. Gigas would usually ban together as a group if a large animal needed bringing down such as Argentinosaurs or Muaposaurs. A pack may stay together, however if food becomes scarce then the pack separates or they may turn into cannibals but this was extremely rare. Larius knew then why he had no need to fight the leader to become the alpha male of the pack. If he had not arrived. Crusher would surely have scared them off. Still, this pack had been around each other for a long time. And they were well known. This was good for him. He kept watch on his pack as they fed on the Argentinosaur. In the distance he saw Crusher drag a younger Argentinosaur away from the same herd he saw earlier. He looked around and sniffed the air. Something was not right, not right at all. Something was watching him and the pack. But also, Crusher...

"Well then how about we don't lead them to us, BUT we go to them. That leaves me with a backup plan. We know they are somewhat better than us but we can still outwight them. Which leaves me with an option, we find out where the raptors travel along the island. Find any form of routine or same route they travel every time. The other option is we find the source that caused these Ultra Raptors to be so powerful. There has to be something that is luring raptors to one area where they get this strength and become Ultra Raptors." He hissed with a cunning smile. He knew something....

A large smile spread across Sandstorms face, he growled "So brother, who exactly are these guys, you need to know an opponent to expolit and opponent, and if they are as akilled as he said, then we need every underhand trick we got."
Softfoot merley nodded weakly, it was too musch too handle, but one thing had been confirmied. Steelatalon now despised them for something they didnt know they did, or else, something that they hadnt done.

Steeltalon mulled over the problem. "It's not where we set the first decoy," she mused. "But when. Figure out when and where they eat and drink. Set up the decoy there. The second about a mile away." She turned. She gave a sly grin. "If Sandstorm is the first decoy...maybe the second should be two miles away. I can tell those mutants will just love a challenge. And anyway, we need to test how far they will run. Maybe set up sentries. Two at the Game Trail from dawn until noon. Two more take over then. The same with the poisoned water hole." Steeltalon's eyes flashed. "The best we can hope for is to find them," she added more quietly.

"As for who they are...I don't know. But there are three females, white with black spots and yellow eyes. The two males are both read and gray with a white stripe separating the two colors, black quills and red eyes. But...I have reason to believe these are the hatchlings of the pack that wiped out my family. Riptide and Night's pack."

"Well at least we know who they are. So here is my second option: We take the fight to them." Said Goldfang. A lot of the raptors had troubled looks now. "Here is what I propose we do: First, we find the enemy. And yes, I mean marching straight at them. We have the ones with strength hang at the back whilst others built for speed scatter and hide in the trees. This will lure the Ultra Raptors to us. Here we have the lighter raptors up fron covering the strength ones. Then when they scatter the raptors built for strength should be ready cause the Ultra Raptors will run straight through the light raptors to scatter them. Then you heavy ones will be in the right range to attack. The Ultra Raptors will be unable to turn around after that. The lighter ones will be chased which is why they must immediately hide in the trees. The Ultra Raptors cannot climb them. Then you lighter ones must wait until they loose interest or you and walk off before you leap on their backs. This won't let them fight back. If this plan works, we should kill them all." He said. Most of the raptors seemed to be satisfied with this...

Steltalon sighed. "Yeah, a good plan, but with a huge hole in it: We have NO idea where the mutants are. That's why I suggested sentries." She closed her eyes in an attempt to control her growing frustration. "We know what they look like. We have no idea who they are. How the hell are we suppossed to track them down...if Fatalis couldn't smell them before they jumped him? How do we follow tracks that don't exist? There's only one answer--we don't. We have to wait for them to find us. Going out into the brush could be playing to their strengths. That could get a few or all of us killed." Steeltalon's shoulders were shaking by the time she finished speaking. "I don't want to lose any of my trusted friends any more than Softfoot would want to lose Darktooth. I didn't want to lose my family, but I did. Going out into the forest is almost certain death!" She settled down with a sigh, her eyes shut. "Set up the sentries at the poisoned water hole and the Game Trail," she growled to Goldfang. "Now!"

Fatalis barked "Silence! we need to keep to a steady plan if we want to have even the slightest bit of hope at stopping them. we cant have the lighter raptors climb the trees. the mutants can jump high enough to get onto the low branches. hiding in the trees is useless when they've seen us. also, we're not facing just 4 or 5 raptors. we're facing a pack of 30, at least, if i know the leader as much as i think i do. they're intelligent, fast, powerful and very agile. they can do all the things we can, and possibly more. we need to find a way to beat them, but attacking them isn't the answer. as for sentries, what if they are guarding areas these raptors dont go? they dont stay in one place, that im sure of. they definately dont have a pattern, otherwise one of us would've picked it up ages ago. they're like a pack of lone wolves together. they dont have a pattern. they just roam the island, learning as much as they can about the positions of their enemies, using other predators that they're familiar with to give them information. if anything, this conflict will be one of alliances, not packs. it's probably going to depend on whose allies are stronger, as, in skill, we're nearly tied. when i fought one, neither of us could land a significant blow on the other. once the others joined in, i had no choice but to escape, as i would've been killed if i had waited longer". Saberclaw, rather annoyed with the switching in plans, growled "So, Fatalis, what do you suppose we do? search the forest and risk an attack? or just remain where we are until they find us?". Fatalis shook his head and hissed " neither. i'll use myself as live bait. im the one they want. i'll go after them while the rest of the targets hide somewhere safe. after i come across one, which, judging by a Megaraptor attack we recently suffered, wont be long, i'll wound the first of the Mutants that come near me. after that, i'll hide as fast as i can. after that, we can use the trail of blood to lead us to where they are. as soon as i've wounded it and lost the pursuer, i'll call you, and move south by half a kilometer from the location. after that, i'll wait. then we can trace it to the raptors and ambush them. we'll need as much stealth as we can manage, and must be very careful not to blow our cover once we reach them. it's risky, but if it works, they'll be caught by complete surprise, and even if we dont succeed on the first attack, the wounded one will be turned on for leading us to them, lessening their numbers by a raptor or more if the fight gets bloody. who agrees with me?"...

after Crusher adn his family had finished eating, Tornado growled "Crusher. come with me, i want to speak with you". Crusher got up, and the 2 left through the trees, heading for the gam trail...

Softfoot sighed when she heared his plan. She growled out "So fatalis, you wish for your freinds to hide while you run around free that way you are assured of their saftet and only have to worry about yourself. Well what about you. What will give your freinds peace of mind eh? But neither the less, you know where to find my freinds and I if you need us. We have no intention of hiding, and the more raptors in the open, more chance of running into them. And if there are thirty of them, Crusher wont be able to do a thing. He will be killed before he could fight back. Obviosly these raptors are skilled, so killing Crsuher would be easy with a bit of planning. So we cant relly on him.

"Well whatever the case i have another option, we need allies in this time of crisis. You say you have allies with Tyrannosaurs, one in particular called Crusher, though I have never seen him I have heard he is the largest on the island which is most unusual. I reckon we might be able to side with Utahraptors who are with the Dienonychus. They are not siding with the Utra Raptors. They may proove valuable allies to us, the Utahraptors stand just as tall as the Ultra Raptors and are equal to them in almost every way." He barked.

Fatalis hissed "Do what you like, but we need to organise a certain call code to use if we find the Mutants. try and wound them. preferably a slash, something to make them bleed. then we can trace the blood back to their current resting spot. as for Crusher, from what i've heard, his skin's so thick due to his size that Raptor claws have not yet managed to get deep enough to cause harm. his weakest point is his mouth and if they get there, they're almost certainly dead. you'd need something as strong, if not stronger than Crusher, if you want to take him down. some witnesses i've met have told me that he took out a Giga bigger than he was in a rage unlike anything anyone's ever seen before. he told me that the Giga was slaughtered, and it was the previous master of the island, until it left to chase down a pack of Suchos that killed it's mate. a human building nearly collapsed on top of it because of the force of Crusher's ram pinning it to the side of the structure! somehow i doubt that Crusher will be killed, but he may not be the best against them because of his size. he's too big and bulky to be capable of taking on a pack of 30 without alot of Raptors to keep them distracted while he hits. if they colect in one spot and dont move fast enough, they're finished. but otherwise, Crusher isn't too good at taking them on. he's a fast fighter, but not that fast. not fast enough to take on those mutants...he may be a very handy ally against the Megaraptors however...".

Crusher walked with Tornado through the forest. Tornado growled "Crusher...i can't remain with you and your family anymore". Crusher growled "Why not?". Tornado grunted "I'm old, large and a loner. i dont like to stay in a group with others. i prefer to explore the island, much like you did when you were young. I will be around if you need me, but im mostly going to be exploring the island, to see if i can find any more of our relatives. Rampage's mother is still alive. i've met her a while ago. she though Rampage was dead. im going to find her, and let her know that Rampage is alive and well, adn that she's with you, then i'm going to search for any of your brothers and sisters who may still be alive...". Crusher growled "Sisters? dont you mean sister?". Tornado growled "No. Sisters. dont you remember your younger sister Storm?". Crusher growled "St.....storm?.....STORM! of course! i can't believe i hadn't remembered her! do you know if she's still alive?". Tornado growled "Yes, she is. but i dont know where she is. im going to visit an old friend of ours to find out where, then i'll take it from there and find her...". Crusher nodded "Goodluck, Tornado. if you find any of our relatives, send them here, and i'll make sure to give them a part of my territory to have. and after your finished, come back. there will always be a place here for you". Tornado nodded, and growled "Goodbye, Crusher...". Crusher growled "Goodbye, Grandfather. Goodbye, and good luck"...

Steeltalon flinched but said nothing, turning her head away to stare at an uninteresting bush. It was obvious the Lone Wolves didn't like her plan. She got up and turned to go. They didn't need her inexperiance here. And what if they turned on her to practice their battle skills?

They're better off without me, she decided with a nod to herself.

"Well...I'm going back to my home," she growled quietly. "Call me if you need me. Which I doubt...since it doesn't seem like any of you trust me." She started the trek back to the caves.

She was saddened, but not surprised to find that the Lone Wolves all distrusted her because of her skin coloring. Won't anyone accept me for who I am and not what I am? Steeltalon wondered as she looked up at the lightening sky. It's not my fault I was born a mutant. It's not my fault nobody trusted Riptide's pack. So...why does everyone think it's my fault that I can't change who I am?

Mimic after seeing the brutal defense of the sick triceratops she had witnessed. The large carnivore lying dead next to the sick triceratops, Mimic thought that maybe the large carnivore could still be alive, she tried to awake her with barks and bumping into her. The giant would not wake. Mimic after a few minutes realized it was hopeless and gave up, she was sad for the death of what could of been a bigger sister to the young dinosaur. Mimic started to whimper knowing that she was all alone once again. She was restless and felt the need to leave the giant to its glory, Mimic wandered off to the tree line and walked through the low shrub. After wandering for hours she reached a small clearing within the trees and looked through some leaves to see a large nest with a carcass of a large herbivore she had never seen the type before. There were some of her species around the nest but she stayed were she was staring at them, she did not want to alert them of her being there but she
did not want to leave either. But she did not realize she was standing upwind from the nest.

Goldfang tried to suggest more but couldn’t. He noticed Steeltalon walk off. She was different in colour to the others. Goldfang was also different, his fangs were an unusual bright golden colour and his eyes were golden too. He decided to wait for a moment before the arguing continued. He wondered how there was a T-Rex so large. Only females were larger than males and Crusher was the largest over all Tyrannosaurs. If what was said about him true then he was terrifying most likely. He had never seen Crusher before. But still it was not so strange, the Ultra Raptors were huge and yet they had lived for so long too. And yet, how did this Tyrannosaur in particular get to be humongous? He wondered…

Larius went out hunting again in the morning sun. It appeared the 2 females had just laid their eggs, 5 each. He found a Proceratosaur scavenging from a dead Camarasaur with a Ceratosaur. A pack of 10 Dilophosaurs walked on past but scattered at the site of Larius as he charged on through. With one crushing bite, he killed the Proceratosaur and nailed the Ceratosaur below his feet. He crushed the one beneath him with his foot, the Proceratosaur he took back with him, dangling from his jaws. He took it back to where the pack was feeding and laid it down alongside the eggs. Once the eggs hatch a week later, he knew the young would be hungry straight away. He went back and grabbed the Ceratosaur and finally the Camarasaur. After dragging them back he noticed a group of Procompsognathus and Compsognathus feeding from the Argentinosaur. Though they might try and eat a dinosaur egg, he knew they would not dare try when a Giganotasaur family was watching over their nest so he let them small dinosaurs feed. The rest of the pack was resting. He wondered where these Ultra Raptors were coming from. Later he would find out…
