Crusher was hungry, and had headed off to the game trail, near where he had killed Thrasher, his arch Nemesis, years ago. when he arrived, he saw several dark shapes moving towards the edge of the river near Thrasher's skeleton. he knew what they were. Mutants. and from what he could smell, they were stalking Fatalis...and his friends, apparently...
Fatalis hissed "We need to lure them deeper into Crusher's territory. we can try and call Crusher, but it may or may not work". Fatalis then picked up a scent on the wind. it was unmistakeable. 2 scents. one of the mutants, and the other of one particular Tyrannosaur. Crusher. he barked "Crusher! he's here!". next thing they heard was an ear splitting roar as Crusher spotted the mutants. it was obviously enough to get their attention, as Fatalis noticed a wave of movement on the edge of the small area of forest they were in. they had been surrounded, but Crusher had saved their lives. Fatalis barked "Trees! into the trees!". he then jumped upwards as he watched Crusher walk forward towards the mutants, his skin changing colour to a frightening blue/grey, with royal blue and orange stripes, his snout muscle cavities turning red, as did his usually bluish eyes. another earth-shaking roar left his mouth, and he walked forward. "Leave! now! or i'll make sure none of you leave this place alive!". the Raptors hissed and looked at him, and started spreading out, as if trying to encircle him. Crusher charged forward, surprising them. they split just in time and 5 of them lunged onto his sides, and started trying to cut into his skin. it was causing a bit of a sting, but it wasn't serious. Crusher crouched, then rolled, crushing the Raptors under his weight. he looked at them and roared "i'll give you 3 seconds, to turn around and leave my territory, or else your fates will be the same as the ones you now see on the ground!". the Raptors hissed and backed off a bit, then started advancing again. Crusher could see some movement in the trees, and he knew who it was. the Lone Wolves...
Fatalis barked "Attack!". the Lone Wolves leaped onto the opponents viciously, Fatalis slashing through as many as he could, using the slash-and-jump technique to hit several one after the other. he was about to attack a 6th Raptor when it tailwhipped him to the ground, and hissed "Fatalissssssssss......We meet again....". "No...not you..." hissed Fatalis. his one and only surviving relative from Thrasher's attack. Echo, his brother. his older brother, and the pack's most skilled fighter and hunter. Named for his ability to make enemies think he was somewhere else before he attacked...
Echo hissed "Thatsssss right, Fatalisssss......Echo....your brother....remember me? well, i dont think you'll have time to remember if you haven't already!". right then, he dropped unconscious, Razorclaw standing behind him, a saw lower jaw having just been slammed into the back of the Raptor's head to knock it out cold. the sight around him was stunning. several of either side lay on the ground, some dead, others dying. Crusher was ripping through the Raptors like nothing he had ever seen before, leaving several with missing upper or lower halves, contrary to what he expected. Berserk the Rex was also killing a few. The Lone Wolves were quite fairly matched with the Mutants, though Fatalis knew that the true leaders, probably only 7 or 8, the original pack members, the ones who wanted his head, were far more skilled than these. the Mutants retreated, having been successfully ambushed this time. among them was a bleeding Raptor. Fatalis thanked Razorclaw for saving his life. had Echo been given another moment, Fatalis would've been killed, as would anyone who got in the way. Crusher shot off in pursuit for a couple of kilometers, killing a couple of Raptors on the way, before stopping and returning to the Lone Wolves. he growled "Where's Fatalis?". the Lone Wolves looked in Fatalis' direction to see him trying to find a way to keep his brother pinned to the ground so that he wouldn't manage to get up when he awoke. they had some questions for him. Crusher growled "Let me carry him" Fatalis moved out of the way, and Crusher lifted him, then moved over to a boulder nearby, and put Echo's limp body down, and rolled the boulder onto his tail, to prevent him from moving when he woke up. he growled "That should be enough". Fatalis thanked Crusher, and watched Echo, waiting for him to wake up. Crusher decided he'd stay there and watch over them. he noticed a Rex nearby, which had helped in the fight by killing a few Raptors. he went over to the Rex and growled "Who are you, Tyrannosaur?", and then waited for a reply. the whole time he noticed the several of the Lone Wovles looking at him in pure awe...
Guys, so you know, I would appreciate someone asking before hijacking my plots and characters...if it happens again, i'll have Tornado eat the character of the player responsible for it alive.
