Serephir chuckled at the comment Thara had made. "Fine fine. "Tyrannical" Military Commander it is, if that's what you'd preffer to call me. I'm the High General of the Vardian Armed Forces, and Leader and Commander of the Vardian Military Conflict Elimination Brigade, for further reference. i know by the time we're back on the Endeavour you'll have forgotten it, so don't bother. just don't make me look bad" he said with a chuckle. "Good to meet you Johnny. It seems we're both in the same situation regarding these aliens are conscerned" he said as he looked at Johnny...

"Apparently...I wonder what the hell they want anyway...Just to...ya know, eat people?" Akiba said, taking out his handgun as he randomly pointed it in a random direction. "Seems the planets forces are doing a good job..." he said, holstering the handgun once more.

"Actually, they seemed to be eating, well, everything," replied Arqueek. "Not just sentient beings, but plants, pets, anything organic really. Odd, to say the least."

"Disgusting, would be the best word to describe it." Akiba said, screwing up his face in disgust, even though it was hidden by the mask. "Not exactly a good moment when a giant worm eats your dog and crushes half of your house I guess..."

"With a bit of luck, the whole threat will be wiped out before too long" said Serephir. "Now, who wants a drink?" he added. he planned to use the card the droid gave him on arrival to get some drinks, take care of any business he wanted to do here, then contact Vardia when he got back to the Space Port, and have his money transferred, then pay it off using his card...

"Ugh, I saw worse things happen to people," remarked Arqueek. "Those guns didn't shoot bullets, just so you know." He shuddered at the thought of some maggot or beetle eating him from the inside out. In response to Serephir, he simply said, "No thanks..."

"Thara? Johnny? Blaze? how about you guys?" he asked, somewhat disappointed that Arqueek had suddenly changed his mind about a drink...

"I could go for a soda..." Akiba said, giving a thumbs up to Serephir. "Wow, carnivorous beetle guns...Thats creative, yet sick." he said to Arqueek, turning back to the leader of the group. "I'll pay you back...I just...don't have my wallet..." Akiba said, checking his pockets...

Arqueek shrugged to Thara and Serephir, but was utterly sick to his stomach, to put it lightly. He wasn't very used to fighting these kind of creatures. They were vicious, relentless, and downright soulless. Not even Skaven were that bad.

The Tyranid, however, was gone by the time the drones arrived at its last known location. It didn't seem to leave any trace, except the drone's ruined husks, which still crackled with static...

Blaze said "I dunno about them, but I'm in!................if you'd be ok with it, of course". Serephir chuckled. "Sure....oh, and Johnny, this one's on me. don't worry about paying me back" he said, moving from Blaze to Johnny. he looked at Thara and said "Losing your appetite already? Thara, you need a bit of VAMCEB training" with a chuckle, as he then looked around at the various signs, written in the Galactic Standard for ease of understanding. "Hey Thara, know any good places around here?" he said, expecting the Koult to know, seeing as he had apparently been here before...

OOC: you think im going to let you go that easy? :P

The drones looked around and in unison, their search lights activated, switching their sensors to heat. This creature probably wasn't use to light... They all split up going down different tunnels, winding through the darkness, illuminateing them with the yellow beams of light...

Thara shook his head saying "not a clue, there should be loads around there. Just need to know where to look, which is over there!" He pointed towards a grassy center on the citys edge, fountains lineing it, a few cafés and bars around it...

OOC: If you insist...

Near one drone's location, a low, hissing growl echoed from a nearby tunnel, as if asking for the drone to go in.

Serephir grinned, heading towards the place, the others following as he came across one particularly interesting cafe with the title "Starbucks" on a green logo hanging above the door. Serephir stared at it skeptically for a moment, before shrugging, and continuing. they soon came across a tavern titled "The Marican Star", an obvious pun on the Marican [and seemingly Koult and every other planet thus far]'s currency name. he walked in, looking around, walking over to the counter where the droid bartender was serving up drinks. "Welcome to the Marican Star! what'd you like?" said the Droid in a typical cheery tone...

Arqueek walked in behind Serephir, saying to himself, "What the hell's a Starbucks?"

Thara looked around, not used to Kimrav's eatting out locations... He commented "Jeez... Back home pubs tended to have alot more noise... and music... and spit on the walls.... and fights.... meh" He beckoned a droid over told it what he wanted and pushed it away before cracking his knucles and going over to a table and sitting down...

The drone paused, launching a grenade into the opening before zooming in, guns blazing...

After the resulting explosion cleared, nothing was there. A form, having latched onto the high tunnel's ceiling, dropped down behind the drone, its sword plunging into the bot's frame, before pulling it out and letting the gutted drone fall to the ground. The Tyranid disappeared down a nearby tunnel, almost enjoying this game of cat and mouse...

The drones homed in on the location, flying over the dead one and pursueing the Tyranid lasers fizzing after it. Their crosshairs locking onto the gargantuan creatures form. It was a good thing drones didn't feel fear....

The Tyranid spun, its sword projecting a field once more, blocking the shots in a hail of static electricity. After the firing stopped, it retaliated with a Bio-Plasma shot, the green fireball flying from its maw and slamming into the lead drone in a firey explosion, lighting up the dark tunnel.

The pods were being destroyed rapidly however their overwhelming numbers insured that plenty of others made their way to the planets surface. A few land at first and instinctively burrow down to start an underground hive. Closely behind other were falling ready to impact the planet.
