Van was now driving down the city streets, heading for what he hoped would give him more answers. His mysterious contact was now a serious threat...Even if it wasn't a vampire, it was trying to kill him, and he wanted to strike first. The motorcycle slid to a stop next to the sidewalk, the vampire hunter looking up to see a large production warehouse. Stepping off of the bike, Van grabbed one of his revolvers, ready for anything that might be inside. Climbing the short steps, he pushed open the door slowly, stepping inside carefully. Raising the weapon, ready to shoot something between the eyes, Van found himself alone, but the warehouse was far from empty. Blood stained the wall nearest him, with a few weapons laying on the floor, covered in blood as well...
Continuing forward, Van saw another staircase, which led up to the office overlooking the main part of the warehouse. Deciding it was the best place to look for information, he crept up the stairs, stopping outside of the door. Waiting a few moments, Van slowly opened the door, rushing it as he raised the firearm in his hand, once again finding nothing. Or, so he thought. Looking toward the window at the front of the office, he noticed a figure sitting in the chair. Van raised his gun once more, stepping forward slowly. Spinning the chair around, he found himself looking at a half-decomposed corpse, which had a large part of its face missing. Screwing up his face in disgust, Van looked closer at the corpse, spying a piece of bloodied paper in its hand. Taking the paper from the corpse's grasp, he opened it up, trying to read through the blood. He made out a few sentences, which included a street name, as well as a few hints to what was there. Apparently they had found something in a building that was important to them...but the note wasn't even finished. It seemed that after their boss was informed, the note stopped dead in its tracks....
Van folded the paper once more, stuffing it into his coat pocket before hurrying down the stairs and out of the warehouse. He knew where his next destination was...
