Van was now driving down the city streets, heading for what he hoped would give him more answers. His mysterious contact was now a serious threat...Even if it wasn't a vampire, it was trying to kill him, and he wanted to strike first. The motorcycle slid to a stop next to the sidewalk, the vampire hunter looking up to see a large production warehouse. Stepping off of the bike, Van grabbed one of his revolvers, ready for anything that might be inside. Climbing the short steps, he pushed open the door slowly, stepping inside carefully. Raising the weapon, ready to shoot something between the eyes, Van found himself alone, but the warehouse was far from empty. Blood stained the wall nearest him, with a few weapons laying on the floor, covered in blood as well...

Continuing forward, Van saw another staircase, which led up to the office overlooking the main part of the warehouse. Deciding it was the best place to look for information, he crept up the stairs, stopping outside of the door. Waiting a few moments, Van slowly opened the door, rushing it as he raised the firearm in his hand, once again finding nothing. Or, so he thought. Looking toward the window at the front of the office, he noticed a figure sitting in the chair. Van raised his gun once more, stepping forward slowly. Spinning the chair around, he found himself looking at a half-decomposed corpse, which had a large part of its face missing. Screwing up his face in disgust, Van looked closer at the corpse, spying a piece of bloodied paper in its hand. Taking the paper from the corpse's grasp, he opened it up, trying to read through the blood. He made out a few sentences, which included a street name, as well as a few hints to what was there. Apparently they had found something in a building that was important to them...but the note wasn't even finished. It seemed that after their boss was informed, the note stopped dead in its tracks....

Van folded the paper once more, stuffing it into his coat pocket before hurrying down the stairs and out of the warehouse. He knew where his next destination was...

Nyx let out a small shrieck and fell out of the bed. "Ow!" she said sitting back up and rubbing her head. "That girl seriously needs to go to therapy or something!" she groaned and got up.

Thanatos trotted up the stairs to Diana's room and knocked a few times before he heard a small 'enter at your own risk' on the other side. "That's original," he said as he opened the trapdoor. Diana groaned loudly and planted her face on her pillow...

Drake walked in behind Thanatos, his gun at his side, going through the typical checks he usually did. when he had made sure there wasn't any unwelcome guests in the room, he looked over at Diana. "And this time it was?" he said. he had taken note of a somewhat flattened looking black rose laying on the bed by one of her hands...a trademark of some Vampires...not extremely common, but not extremely rare either...

Diana noted Drake's glance at the rose, she glared at him and covered it with her covers. "I was shackled to him and he said I couldn't run and he'll always win," she said.

Nyx stuck her head in the room and looked at Diana. "Jeez-loweez, you need help!" she complained and sat on the rim of the entrance. Diana glared at her too, then once again plopped down onto her pillow.

Drake sighed. "Diana. as much as i hate repeating it. Siete is small fry where i'm conscerned. the chances of him succeeding are about as likely as Hitler coming back from the dead and taking over the planet. don't listen to his taunts. his GOAL is to set doubt in us to give him a better chance of defending himself. Giving into those beliefs will only give him more time. personally, i'm going to test the sensitivity of the Vampiric Community in New York over that matter. I'm sure, seeing as Siete and his plot are so 'popular', that i should quickly get some info on his last known location, and perhaps, a bit of info on his plans themselves" he said...

Diana sat back up and grinded her teeth together. "I really hate it when you make things sound so easy," she said through gritted teeth. Indeed, she did hate his never-ending confidence and always upside attitude. Nyx furrowed her brow at Diana's tone, what was her problem lately?!

"I'm not saying it'll be a walk in the park. but it isn't exactly that hard either. usually the biggest problem when taking on an enemy when you're more experienced than most, is overestimating them. in the end you waste alot more resources than you need to. as for making it sound so easy, at the very least it balances things out, what with your regularly negative outlook on the situation simply because of his past habits. what you don't seem to see is that most major Vampires are like that, and they are as much a prey to me as humans and other weaker victims are to them" said Drake, shrugging...

Diana gritted her teeth harder, until the threat of making them break under pressure arose. She balled her hands into fists and her nails dug painfully into her palms. Her eyes flashed red for only second then settled into a yello-green instead of pure emerald. B******, stupid, confident, b******! she thought. "I'd like to be alone now," she said through gritted teeth...

Thanatos left without hesitation, knowing he shouldn't be around when she exploded.

Nyx looked to Drake then to Diana. "Yeah, it's best that do leave her alone," Nyx whispered exitting as well.

Drake simply turned his back on Diana, saying "If you like" as he walked out of the room. he could more or less tell what was going through Diana's mind. she couldn't believe that the one who had caused her so much pain, so much anguish, so much suffering, was as commonly weak as Drake claimed. it didn't seem physically possible for her to believe that Siete, who had ruined her life, wasn't nearly as powerful as she thought, and that others stood far above him, instantly capable of crushing him should he get too confident...

A cloaked figure entered the dark, shadow-filled scarlet room, the black marble floors clean, the red carpet going down it's center to the desk at which a tall, well muscled man sat, his pale features standing clashing with the icy, mint green eyes that stared down with all the focus of a hawk on prey, only contrasted by his pure black hair, his equally dark beard wrapping around his mouth in a neatly shaved square. "My lord..." started the cloaked man, getting down on one knee and bowing low to make sure not to disrespect the Vampire Lord, fearing his life would end should he so much as hint a lack of disrespect to his master. "We are gathering rumours of a highly skilled Vampire Hunter moving around in New York...the description our spies have supplied us is similar to that of....Romero" said the cloaked figure, still bowed low before the Vampire Lord, who was wearing a long, black, high buttoned trenchcoat reminescent of a Nazi General, though the armband was missing. "Aaaah....so that mongrel son of mine's still alive, is he? that idiot Zerenski's even more useless than i originally expected him to be...no matter...I'll take care of both of them when the time comes. for now, keep things going as planned" snarled the Vampire Lord Kagan, the cloaked figure before him nodding slowly before rising to his feet, leaving the room, the door closed behind him as a grand fireplace erupted into flames in a corner of the room, the fire within casting a slightly warm light, more shadows forming in the dark room...

Once everyone left the room, Diana picked up her pillow shoved into her face and screamed! Once the breath was out of her and the hate that was boiling her blood and as soon as her throat started burning. She fell back on her bed and sighed deeply. The stereo was turned on again on low volume, just so everyone could hear, but it wouldn't distract conversations. Thanatos put in his selection of a song once again something by T.A.T.U, All the Things She Said. "What a way to wake up," Thanatos thought as he rubbed the bridge of his nose, which had mended itself as usual...

Nyx sighed and shook her head. "She's been in a state since that visit with the twins," she said.

"I just wish she wasn't so solid about her belief that Siete was the worst there was" he said, heading for the bedroom to get more decently dressed, being in nothing but his trouser pants at the moment. "I can tell it's difficult for her to believe there's worse...but she's so solid against it it's like she's actually protecting his title in her head as the worst man alive or something"...

"She was only 14 and when something like that is pounded on your back and into your head until you're 27, it's kinda hard to get rid of," Nyx said. "Me, I learned over the years that could be worse." She looked up at the ceiling for no real reason, perhaps to see through the floor and see Diana's expression now, but she still saw nothing.

Diana took out the rose again and examined it more closely. To escape this would be heaven, but she would live with the nagging guilt of leaving her friends in the dust. She gulped and put it down unwillingly pursing her lips in indescion...

Drake entered the room and began to change, digging into his closet for a change of clothes, the current suit needing cleaning. "i just hope this naive streak doesn't last too long after we've rubbed Siete out...i don't want Diana to get into an even bigger mess as a result of an assumption like that" said Drake as he picked out a black, silver pinstriped shirt, a dark, almost navy blue shade of black covering the suit meant to go over the shirt, and his regular trenchcoat on top of that. a milky, silvery-white patternless tie went to complete the outfit, Drake soon stripping down to change into the fresh set of clothes...

Nyx shook her head as she watched him change. "Must you always wear suits?" she asked. She went over to her dresser and pulling out black, silver, and red tubetops.

"Looking professional usually either intimidates the newcomers, or lulls them into a false sense of security. it's helped me out of a few annoying situations with random gangs of hungry Vampires" said Drake with a smirk as he swiftly changed, the clothing soon on, buttoned, geared and ready. "Besides. this trenchcoat doesn't look good on anything else. too formal looking to wear over a T-shirt. maybe after i've taken care of Kagan and don't need all this on me all the time, i could wear something a bit more...casual. if you like, of course. i personally preffer a more...classical taste" he said as he straightened his tie smoothing down his lapells, as if emphasizing his words...

Nyx pulled on the red tubetop and slipped on a black mini-skirt showing off as much skin as possible. "I usually try something sexy, catches the boys off guard and it makes them too cocky," she said and grinned. "Or at least that's what I learned."

"It does in most cases" said Drake, his eyes gliding over Nyx's form. "The new kids in town see you as another snack and maybe a bit of entertainment, and the older ones don't see the threat, seeing you simply as company. But there are plenty of exceptions in that" He said, remembering a nasty memory of a certain female Brimstone Agent being ripped in half at the hands of a Vampire Lord he was supposed to take out when she had him distracted, one Agent not being enough at the time, Drake still being in the beginnings of his work as an agent...

"That's why they call it dressed to kill," Nyx said and examined herself in a full-length mirror. She turned her head left and right. "Think I'll get a tattoo," she said randomly looking at all the skin that wasn't occupied by something other than clothes.

Diana got up and went to her dresser pulling out tops and jeans and tossing them left and right. "Come on where are you?!" she whispered then pulled out a black and red striped tank top. She dug into the piles she made and pulled out a pair of black capris, hoping they would have a nice effect on everyone else. And just for a splash of Diana, she added black wrist gaurds with the intitials D.A on them.

Drake chuckled at the tattoo comment, saying "You DO know none of you have to come along, right? this isn't Siete i'm going after...this is information surrounding him". he was now fully geared, ready to leave, only waiting for Nyx's response...

"Yeah I know," Nyx said. "I'm getting dressed because I want to get a few errands out of the way." She smiled. "I was also thinking about getting highlights."
