Deviant simply turned from the Hornet, saying as he walked away "Just tell us what you need and you'll get it" He stopped at the elevator. He pressed the button and waited a few seconds, sparing one last glance at the android before the elevator dinged. The door slid out and the hero stepped inside, the door closing soon after...
The retangular door to a large hanger gave off a mechanical hum. It then opened, two halves of the metal door sliding apart. On the outside, there was a card inserted into a slot. Over this slot was a green display. On this display, the words access granted could be seen. On the ground under it was an unconscious agent. A figure, larger than any human, stepped into the well lit but vacant gray paneled chamber. Finally, he had got to his goal. His space craft was in the hanger, suspended by chains attached to some sort of mechanical arm. The front of the ship was still covered in dirt and grass, which, unfortunately, meant a dirty blind spot when he flew. Galaak cursed under his breath, but quickly pulled his mind away from the problem. He could easilly clean it. For now, he needed to escape the world's most secretive and well guarded millitary base. The alien approached his ship. He hadn't seen its blue panels in what seemed like ages. His gaze turned to the device on his wrist. He tapped on the device's many buttons as he approached it, a remote command to the ship. "Initiate Nanobot repair sequence" He said in his native tongue. A green progress bar appeared in the device's display, taking up the entire screen at first, before moving to the upper right corner. "Initiate all Start-up programs" He added soon after. A low hum eminated from the craft. The chains began to rattle. A green glow escaped the ship's engine. The chains suddenly slackened, the space ship hovering in what seemed like a field of zero gravity. Galaak put in another command via his device. Whirring went off as several circular panels on the top of the ship popped up, under each panel being a small turret. The guns aimed at the chains and fired, red bolts of plasma hitting and severing the connection. The ship then descended slowly. Three silver landing gear slid out of the craft's underside. They touched the ground gently. A circular panel at the hull's center opened like the iris of a camera. A bright beam of light shone out of it. As the Ascatian was about to step into his ship, alarms went off. The lights in the hanger shot off, red flashing lights activating in their place. "Damn!" Galaak snarled. He rushed into the beam of light, finding himself weightless and rising into the craft. The iris panel shut when he was inside of the ship. The alien made his way up the ship into his command modual, sitting in the chair. Various displays around him lit up and streamed various alien symbols that comprised of the Ascatian alphabet. The display on his wrist device went black. Another display that was to Galaak's right displayed the Nano-Repair status. 10%. By now, basic atmospheric flight and some weapons were active. Shields were still down.It was good enough. The legs folded in on themselves and rose back into the ship. The craft hovered above the ground. Clattering could be heard as agents and soldiers ran down the hallway, just about to pour into the hanger. Panels just by the craft's crescent wings flipped open, revealing the craft's missile pods. Two of the stream lined rockets shot out of the pods and arced towards the back of the hanger, which just happened to be where the experimental aircraft were deployed; this information being gathered when Galaak pilfered a digital map of the base from the unconcious soldier. The missiles exploded, blowing a hole in the thick metal sheet. The craft suddenly shot forwards out of the opening, as silent as the air itself, but fast as lightning. The soldiers burst through the door, assualt rifles at the ready, only to see their target had escaped...
from the outside...it seems as though a hole had been blown out in the rock face that was just outside of the dried up Groom Lake... the surface installation looming on the southern shore, bathed in moon light..
