"Great. in that case, let's get outta here" growled Blade, before turning to leave, wanting to get Alira and Selena as far away from Darkness as possible, as soon as possible....He and Crusher had a respect for eachother, and as such, Crusher had some influence over the Raptor. but with the Rex gone, Darkness could come back and taunt them at any time, and there'd be nothing to stop him...as much as he cared for the black Raptor, he didn't want to remember him as a hateful creature that enjoyed tormenting those around him. if it required him to evade contact as much as possible, so be it...
a faint crack could be heard, muffled by the boom of thunder overhead, a branch plummeting from above over Bane, threatening to crush him or knock him out of the tree, the wide reaching branches attached to it meaning that it had a fairly large radius...
Crusher moved onwards, trying to pick up a scent in the rain. it was difficult...rain had a tendency to wash away scents more effectively than any other element in nature. it was the reason the air felt so...thick, and heavy, after a strong rainstorm. it saturated the air, but washed away almost all scents in the process.......almost all scents. and that was where being a Rex became a serious advantage. while most predators would be walking blind scent-wise, Crusher could detect even the tiniest scents around him and pinpoint them with startling accuracy, if only slightly inaccurate due to the rain breaking the scents up. taking several long draughts of the air around him, the Rex searched for food, walking onwards as he searched in hopes of having better chances of finding something...
"Ah yes, organised chaos. the sign of a clever but ever-busy mind. To the perpetrator, a carefully woven web of belongings and intrigue, but to the bystander? Madness!"
