The Lili gave a half nod that was probably only lost in the pouring gloom, then narrowed one eye, thinking she had caught something odd in Aircrest's tone, though she couldn't be sure. "Ah..." The Lili stepped out of the alley completely, her tail swishing out of the thicker trees as she turned to face the raptor and what she caught of another, unfamiliar voice somewhere in the background, though she didn't move any closer. She saw something shadowy moving toward them... or were there two shadows? It was difficult to tell with rain distorting her vision. "Looks like you're not alone anymore. That's more than I can say. I got the impression you liked being a loner though..." She still couldn't identify the figures by sight or scent, and wasn't about to walk right up to the strangers to find out...

Shortly after, Hazel had appeared by Aircrest's side, the green raptor growling "Im with my sister and someone a friend of mine told me to take with me on a little trip" Aircrest looked to Hazel and growled "Her name's Hazel" The brown raptor nodded politely to the lili. "She's my sister" He growled

Rose followed the barely audible sounds Hazel was making and stood behind the two raptors, deciding to let them do the talking.

Aircrest glanced to Rose when she caught up and growled "And she's Rose. Everyone? Meet Switchblade"

Renegade smirked at Fatalis' tactic. He made his way up a tree, far behind Fatalis and the dromaeosaur. He seemed to wind up the large, thick trunk of it, clawing his way up in a spiral to gain momentum.
He leaped from tree to tree, until he was next to the perimeter Fatalis was creating around Bane. He wasn't quite as fast as the fellow velociraptor, but he had lots of experience in trees as well. The striped raptor was well hidden in the trees, and so moved in slowly...

Bane's eyes narrowed. His foes seemed to have disappeared, yet he could feel the raptors' movement all around him. He looked for them, and could see small flashes of motion everywhere; a branch swung back into place after being stepped on, and leaves were squished and misplaced at such an angle that it couldn't be attributed to the wind.
He tried to look closer, to get a fix on the raptor's exact location, but the heavy sheets of rain, combined with the gusts of wind, made that impossible.
He crouched down, using a last resort tactic; he closed his eyes, waiting for the attack to come to him...
Clarity of thought before rashness of action...

The name set off stronger feelings of recognition in the young blind raptor's mind. "Switchblade..." she repeated. "The Switchblade who was one of my mother's best friends?"

Aircrest cocked his head as Rose's words. She knew a Switchblade? If this Liliensternus was the one she knew, then Aircrest could leave her with a family friend. Save him and her the trip of going to the pack, knowing there was a chance she could be turned down.

Switchblade returned Hazel's nod with one of her own, after which her amber eyes settled on the other raptor, slowly growing wider as the second name called up memories of the past with the old group. "Silver..." she hissed quietly, with a small smile that would probably go unnoticed, though it showed through in her tone. "I definitely am that Switchblade. It's good to see you again Rose..."

"I wish I could say the same," Rose growled, her head turning towards the familiar voice, wishing that she could see the Lili. It would have been nice to be able to take note of the ways that Switchblade had changed in the time since the group had broken up. "Nonetheless, it's good to hear your voice again. How are you faring?"

Aircrest closed his eyes, a small smile on his maw. Funny how disasters could bring family- and old friends- together. If he left Rose with her, then Switchblade wouldnt be alone anymore, and Rose would have someone she could trust. That is, unless she wanted to join a pack. He'd have to clear it with her before he went on with his mission. "For a loner, you have a lot of friends" Hazel growled quietly as the two dinosaurs spoke. Aircrest opened his eyes again "Eh, I only have two friends, Hellfire and an Allosaur called Blade. Everyone else in my life are aquaintances, save you, my mate Selena, and..." He paused as he tried to think of a word. What was elder to him? He was more than a teacher by now... almost a father figure in a sense. "...My mentor, Ripper" Aircrest replied quietly. "Mentor?" Hazel growled. "Ill explain on the way to the pack." Aircrest barked, Hazel nodding. "While your at it, you might as well describe this 'Selena' to me" She hissed slyly, a smirk on her face. Aircrest closed his eyes again, shaking his head. "Common! I wanna know!" Hazel pleaded, nudging her brother with her snout

Redclaw watched the igunadon as it grazed and started to move slowly toward. but as redclaw got ready to charge a snarl and a honking sound scared the herbivore into running off, hissing with annoyence the raptor went to see what had scared away his prey.

Nightscale returned to the shallow pool of water to ambush a larger meal, standing in the muddy water he was just able to have his eye's above water as a hadrosaur came to drink.

The Lili cocked her head slightly, not entirely sure what the raptor meant. "Alright... Living alone's been challenging, but I've been able to adjust, more or less. I'm actually in the process of looking for some members of my old pack at the moment..." She regarded Rose with mildly concerned eyes. "How've things been for you? Been with Aircrest and Hazel long?"

"Why wont you tell me?" Hazel growled, still trying to get Aircrest to speak about Ripper and Selena. "Because" Aircrest growled simply. "...Because....what?" Hazel barked. "Its a long story" Aircrest replied. "With a bunch of smaller stories in between" He growled. "Ill tell you later"
"Or...you can let Rose and Switchblade catch up with each other and you can start now!" Hazel insisted, her nudging turning into playful headbutts to Aircrest's shoulder. He opened his eyes. "Fine" He growled. "I guess its difficult carrying a conversation when your seeing this in the corner of your eyes" Hazel smilled and nodded in agreement, snickering. Aircrest nodded to Switchblade and Rose before turning away from them, motioning for Hazel to follow. Bringing up Ripper reminded him of the conversation he had with Hellfire that morning. How much did the elder know about him and Darkness...? And how could he describe Selena without thinking about the fact they could be miles apart? The potential distance worsened the seperation...

"Things haven't been as good for me, I'm afraid," Rose growled, clouded eyes locked sightlessly on the Liliensternus. "I just bumped into Aircrest and an old acquaintance today. He was going to bring Hazel and I to a pack he knows of when we bumped into you."

A few moments later, Aircrest was back underneath a tree, a couple yards from Rose and Switchblade. The branches and leaves sheltered him and Hazel a bit. "Where to start..." Aircrest growled thoughtfully. "Thats a problem for you, huh?" Hazel barked. "What do you mean?" Aircrest growled, cocking his head. "You never know where to start a story" Hazel replied. Aircrest shook his head. "Ussually I do. I have a lot of stories for myself, but when I need to talk about the others in my life?" He sighed. "Thats a different matter. I'd have trouble telling someone about you, or your parents, their friends and so on" Hazel nodded understandingly. "I guess its only logical...that I tell you how Ripper and I met. This was before I met Selena, incase your wondering. And I know you were" Hazel smirked. "It all started when I decided to poke around those old human structures, the over grown caves back on Sorna." Aircrest began before chuckling. "Didnt expect anything to be living in them. I was wrong"

"Great. in that case, let's get outta here" growled Blade, before turning to leave, wanting to get Alira and Selena as far away from Darkness as possible, as soon as possible....He and Crusher had a respect for eachother, and as such, Crusher had some influence over the Raptor. but with the Rex gone, Darkness could come back and taunt them at any time, and there'd be nothing to stop him...as much as he cared for the black Raptor, he didn't want to remember him as a hateful creature that enjoyed tormenting those around him. if it required him to evade contact as much as possible, so be it...

a faint crack could be heard, muffled by the boom of thunder overhead, a branch plummeting from above over Bane, threatening to crush him or knock him out of the tree, the wide reaching branches attached to it meaning that it had a fairly large radius...

Crusher moved onwards, trying to pick up a scent in the rain. it was difficult...rain had a tendency to wash away scents more effectively than any other element in nature. it was the reason the air felt so...thick, and heavy, after a strong rainstorm. it saturated the air, but washed away almost all scents in the process.......almost all scents. and that was where being a Rex became a serious advantage. while most predators would be walking blind scent-wise, Crusher could detect even the tiniest scents around him and pinpoint them with startling accuracy, if only slightly inaccurate due to the rain breaking the scents up. taking several long draughts of the air around him, the Rex searched for food, walking onwards as he searched in hopes of having better chances of finding something...

Bane looked up when he heard the crack. He was just in time to see the large branch falling down above him.
His eyes widening, he side-stepped slightly, and ducked down, closing his eyes out of pure reflex. He crouched, waiting for the blow that would signal the limb's impact.
It never came.
He looked up, seeing the tree branch just above him, as if suspended there magically.
The dromaeosaur looked around quizzically, then realized what had happened. The smaller arms all around the branch had hit the one he was standing on first, effectively stopping the main limb from hitting him, and holding it there.
He quickly stepped out from under, popping up and standing on the branch that fell, expecting an attack...

OoC: 'muffled by the boom of thunder'. he wouldn't've heard a crack. he'd've heard the thunder.

Bane barely had a chance to get onto the branch, before being knocked forward by a strafing Raptor, gone before Bane could even realise what direction he had been hit from...

OOC: He did hear the thunder...

Bane stumbled forward, but dug into the branch he was standing on with his claws, the rain having made the bark slightly soggy and easier to grip, raking it with the claws on his foot...

a groaning noise emminated from the building as the garage door began to rise up, Lightfoot and Goldeye yanknig on the rope attached to it with their teeth, causnig it to rise up, before a "click" was heard, the two ceratosaurs let go, before heading off into the rain, Lightfoot stopping briefly to turn to the now sleeping Spinosaur. "We're off to get some food now, Spike" the male Ceratosaur growled before heading off after Goldeye, the female Ceratosaur having headed on toward the docks...
