"After we get some food, water and some rest, we'll take a large portion of the surrounding area, Flamejaw," Chopper growled to his mate, reassuring her they would have a new territory before the day had ended when she appeared concerned that they lost their home. "We'll be safe until then," the alpha raptor continued, trying to calm his mate.

Brute was rushing back towards his brother and Flamejaw with his younger brothers and the rest of the pack, the group reaching them fairly quickly. "What are we going to do now?" he asked with a low hiss, looking worriedly at his elder brother, missing the conversation between him and his mate...

Spike continued on into the jungle, the ground beneath their feet was getting more and more saturated as he and the Ceratos went on. the normal jungle plants were now beginning to be replaced by mangroves and more swamp-oriented foliage. The alrge bull Spinosaur sniffed the air briefly, just to make sure he was heading the right way... Indeed, he was heading right back toward his old territory...

Blackscale entered into a large clearing, one which made the female T-rex stop in amazement. Before her was a sight she had missed, one which she remembered fondly before she was taken by the humans. Across the entire clearing, a river ran downthe middle, with ferns and horsetail plants along the edges of it. But it wasn't the river nor the plants that made the T-rex freeze. The entire clearing was alive with dinosaurs, a scene which was almost unparraleled. A trio of Brachiosaurs lumbered toward a small group of trees, with a herd of 20 Dryosaurs scurrying around the giant's feet, hoping to get any scraps of plants the giants might have dropped. Around them, a small group of Ankylosaurs waded toward the river, the large clubbed tails of the herbivores swishing back and forth. On their backs were a flock of Rampharynchus, the pterosaurs acting as sentries, always on the watch. On the other side of the clearing was a herd of 15 Iguanodonts, grazing amongst the grass and ferns for food. Blackscale simply stood in the shadows and watched the peaceful scene, now reminded of why she had missed this place...

"OK. Time we got moving. Probably a good idea to find somewhere to lay low for a while. I expect there's gonna be alot of super predator activity for the next couple of days while the ones that were taken try and reclaim their old turf. Trust me when i say you don't want to get caught up in that" growled Fatalis as he eyed Howler, Rhojis, Sylicora and Pulsar. "Also.....have any of you seen Renegade?" he added...

the rhythmic booming of 4 Rexes' footfalls seemed to rock the jungle as the Rex family headed towards the center of the island, rumbling snarls warding off all that got in their way. Crusher's eyes drifted from right to left, wary of his surroundings. if Nightshade hadn't been given the same treatment he recieved, then he was certainly here, and almost undoubtedly knew of his return. they had to be careful...

Ripper's eyes fell on the lab on the edge of a clearing ahead, the Elder Raptor approaching it from the trees. he knew better than to move on the ground here. Carnotaurs littered this area, strangely attracted to the scent of the waste the human structure used to dump. the Elder leapt from branch to branch, before finally leaping off, crossing a gap between the treeline and a metal beam sticking out of the side of the building, part of a load of supports for a pipe extending from the building and down into the artificial 'pond' to one side of the building. the Raptor glanced around from the metal perch, listening to the sounds around him. a scuffle could be heard between two predators within the building, and the air reaked of Dromeosaurs. the Elder sighed. this would be an annoying cleanup job. looking at the dart in his clawed hand, he snarled. entering the building's upper levels, he searched for a good hiding place, finding a small hole in the floor to old wiring and pipes. placing it in a gap between two of the pipes, he shifted some dead leaves and vines over the spot, before walking into one of the many hallways in the facility....it was time to play his favourite game...

Rockfang crunched on the corpse of a dead Triceratops deep within the heart of the island, the tyrannosaur's malformed jaws easily making short work of his prey. the Rex had an oddly formed lower jaw, with unusually large fangs sticking up and leaving grooves in the upper jaw, almost like an exagerated crocodile's jaw, massive teeth interlocking rather than the upper jaw overlapping the lower, as was the case with many Rexes. the large grey-green predator snarled lowly. he had been told that the position of the strongest predator on the island was now mine. that in turn meant Nightshade was dead. if he were defeated then the title would be given to the one who defeated him. but that brought up questions. how did Nightshade die? why were they so swift to tell him he was Nightshade's replacement? was it on Nightshade's order? a last request? he'd have to look into it soon...

Blade slowed to a stop at Alira's side, catching her muttering something, but not hearing what it was. still feeling the weight of the sedative and the exhaustion that had somehow not been satisfied during their trip, he decided to rest. laying down at the Allosaur's side, Blade fell into a swift, peaceful sleep, his only fear now behind him...he was home...at last...

As Switchblade watched, the snout lifted off the ground slightly and poked out further, an empty-looking, light blue eye tilting tiredly up at her. The light gray Lili groaned again as she tried in vain to push herself up, merely sliding along the sand, gazing around blankly. Though her move did nothing to help her, it gave the green Lili a better view of her, and gave her the reason she was still so heavily affected by the tranquilizer. The Lili was noticeably thinner and smaller than Switchblade, looking like she hadn't had enough to eat in a long time. "I can't believe this..." The green Lili murmured. "All this time... and now... two!" "Ssssaaa... tooth... there?" the gray Lili muttered incoherently before her head fell back to the ground...

Sylicora glanced at the two smaller creatures, trying another, slower nod of greeting that didn't threaten to make her collapse. Rhojis again drew a hand across his muzzle, trying to clear his eyes. "I second the laying low part. I doubt we could take on anything bigger than a compy now..." Though his balance seemed to be improving a bit, he still didn't have enough energy to do anything of use for a while, and hoped Fatalis wasn't going to lead them too far...

"Completely." Zheja's voice emitted sleepily from behind the bush.

"...Right." Rapture growled, blinking. He didn't know what either of them were talking about...were they both so incoherently tired? "I'll be...uh...going now." he growled, glancing between the green Lili and the one who was apparently unconscious, backing away slowly...

Selena let out a purr as she realized it was Aircrest touching her. "At least it didn't take so long this time," she growled, still somewhat drowsy. Rose looked from speaker to speaker, recognizing Aircrest's voice.

A new, low voice rumbled from close to the other three Lilis, "What's going on here? So many predators suddenly turning up in one area of the beach...all barely conscious...this isn't normal." The words were almost muttered, as if the creature were speaking to itself. The speaker emerged from the shadows, deep orange eyes puzzled and wary, stepping into a shaft of sunlight. Tan underbelly, dark brown body, light brown hands and feet...Thorn stood looking around as if he expected this to be some kind of prank.

Howler shrugged in response, nearly knocking Sylicora over as he did so. "Oh, uh, sorry..."

Aircrest simply brushed the side of his head along his mate's, just glad she was Ok. "Your not in pain or anything?" He growled, moving to inspect the mutant look alike's body for wounds and bruises

"No...just...kinda dizzy," Selena growled, blinking in an attempt to clear her vision; everything was beginning to settle. There wasn't as much spinning as before. "What about you?"

"Ill be just fine when the human-stings wear off on you" Aircrest replied. He then turned his head to look at the other raptor standing near Selena. He cocked his head at the young raptor before growling "Well...looks we run into each other again, Rose. And at one hell of a time too"

"Wait a sec- Thorn!" she nearly shrieked, turning so quickly she stumbled, but managed to catch herself. If any more Liliensternus turned up unexpectedly, her weakened legs would surely collapse again. "How... what are you doing here? Wait... you weren't captured?" "Lucky..." the light gray female murmured from the sand, turning one eye on the newcomer. "The... the humans did this. It's hard to explain," Switchblade hissed, forcing her voice down to a calmer level. "They stung us... We fell asleep, and woke up here..." She simply trailed off, knowing she wasn't making much sense. Maybe after some rest she'd be more coherent...

Rose made a noise of agreement. "Nothing like random events to bring friends and family together," she growled dryly.

Thorn turned to look at Switchblade with a surprised but pleased chuckle. "It's good to see you again, too, Switchblade. No, I never saw hide or hair of the humans...maybe it was just dumb luck." He crouched to get a better look at the emaciated gray Lili. He let out a sympathetic noise. "Poor thing. Were the humans so horrible to you all?" he asked, though Switchblade and the other male Lili didn't look nearly as badly starved.

"I dont suppose you know what happened to Switchblade after you two got captured, do you?" Aircrest growled before turning back to look at his mate, bumping his snout against her neck and maw, trying to help her find composure

Rapture turned at the new arrival as hastily as he had the last, now growing frustrated when he found it was another Lili. The female apparently knew this one...that meant they could help the other. No longer feeling guilty for leaving-which admittedly wouldn't have stopped him in the first place-Rapture turned back toward the jungle, scenting the air to try and find a drinkable source of water...

Zheja answered with a loud snore, though he was not asleep...

"No," Rose growled. "Though from what I can tell, all around us are only raptors. maybe the different kinds of dinosaurs were put in different spots?" Selena seemed more steady on her feet now, Aircrest's nudges helping to wake her up a bit more.

Chopper led a small hunting group consisting of himself, his youngest bretheren, and one of the juveniles to hunt for the nearest water source and some easy-to-catch prey for their pack. "Don't split up unless we go head on with some strong or powerful herbivores," the alpha ordered with a slightly strong hiss, regaining strength after a while when the effects of the dart in his leg were wearing off.

Brute and Flamejaw on the other hand, were waking up other velociraptors, one at a time, and chasing them around like prey straight into the jungle. Those that wouldn't budge, however, were killed and left for the compies to scavange and eat. The remain juvenile that had stayed with the two started digging nests on the shore, as far away as possible from the coastline so when the eggs were laid, there wasn't much of a threat other than scavangers and egg eating creatures for the eggs thereselfs, and even then their parents would watch over them, moving them further into the jungle if needed during a storm or powerful waves hitting the beach.

As one of the raptors neared the curled form of Rainus, the gray raptor lashed out with a foot, which connected with his enemy's, causing it to stumble. Beside him, Mist rolled to her feet in one swift motion, head lowered and claws outstretched, letting out a loud hiss. Rainus too was now on his feet, standing beside his sister as they stared down the two other raptors. "Didn't your mother ever tell you to let sleeping raptors lie?" Rainus hissed...

"Possibly" Aircrest growled absent mindedly, his mind focused on his mate and spurred on by her progress. "For now though, I think it'd be best if you stayed with us" He continued to say, stroking the back of Selena's neck. "Until we're back in the right state of mind and what not"

Hazel sighed and growled "You remind me of my brother. Tell me stranger, what is your name?"

"Whoa..." Sylicora swayed, overcompensating for the movement and grabbing for something to hold on to, the closest thing happening to be Howler's arm...

Switchblade shook her head, glancing up at the brown Lili before looking back at Thorn and the smaller female. "Not really. After they took us, we all escaped into a-" she wondered what to call it- "a gray forest of tall caves, then pretty much let us be until now. Can't say it was fun though," she added more quietly, cocking her head. "I had a hard time living alone at first... Maybe she did too..."
