As Aircrest continued, the entrance to the Genetics Lab loomed into view, a pair of thick steel doors half open, bent out of shape by something startlingly powerful, vines having grown over the doors to the point they were hard to identify, the roots seeming to wind in and out of the ceiling over the door and into the lab. terrified screeching could be heard somewhere in the facility, the echos making the location difficult to identify, te racket undoubtedly from Compies, as an angry roar came from what sounded like a Deinonychus, though it was cut short by it's own abrupt screech of shock, a series of weaker screeches, seeming to sound like gasps, coming from it before finally dying down, the facility falling silent once more. a hazy green light cast into the large lab from the windows, which, though still mostly intact, had been overgrown by the jungle, and had hazed over with various kinds of micro-organisms, making looking through them impossible, the most that could be gained being a faded, green-tinted glow lighting the room. all over the room, dark brown crusted bloodstains decorated the floors and walls, human skeletons littering the room, some huddled together in a corner, others seeming to have fallen out of their chair as they were killed in a futile attempt to escape their fate. whatever had struck them struck fast, hard and with no mercy. in the middle of the room stood 3 large tanks full of a greying, semi transparent liquid, 5 other tanks having been shattered sometime between when the building was operated and the current day. on the ground lay 4 deformed saurian skeletons, the tanks carrying two semi-developed embryos, which, on close inspection, would reveal themselves to be a Spinosaur and a T.Rex. the third seemed to be a fully developed Velociraptor, reddish brown in colour, with a thick black stripe running from the front of it's snout, like a mask, down it's back to the tip of it's tail, bleeding into thick sharkfin-like stripes, a short row of quills running from the middle of it's skull down to halfway down it's neck, the Raptor's actual colours somewhat difficult to identify due to the green-tinged liquid it was bathed in. the glass of the tanks had suffered similar fading to the windows, and the creatures within were somewhat difficult to see at the bottom of the glass, though it got clearer further up. vines of various thickness hung from the ceiling of the room, forming a canopy all it's own overhanging the room. a branch extended through a shattered door on a second floor balcony overlooking the room, and the stairs leading up to that second level showed signs of rust, the bottom of it having blades of dead grass and other materials sticking out, a sign that beneath lay a nest, the scent of compies permeating the air in that spot, though it was stale and likely several weeks old...
"Ah yes, organised chaos. the sign of a clever but ever-busy mind. To the perpetrator, a carefully woven web of belongings and intrigue, but to the bystander? Madness!"
