books of various kinds were lined one side of the large satchel, the rows looking more like a small bookshelf, though the shelves were made of the leathery material itself. strangely, as Desrium set the map aside, a part of the leathery 'bookshelf' morphed, opening up a new space, the roll of parchment sliding into it. among the books was a large leathery brown book, decorated with golden letters. Zuppoland: Legends, Lore, Facts & History glimmered almost magically on the brown book. the thick book was roughly half the width of an average man's torso, undoubtedly several thousand pages wide. near it were several other books, some black, some brown, some having more unusual colours like blue, purple and even beige. Dragons, Wyverns and Hydras: The Mystical and Mythical Beasts of Aster was the title of one such book, black, with a brown pattern in the shape of what vaguely looked like a Dragon. a green book with silver clasps stood beside it, the title on the spine identifying it as Elements & The Arcane Arts by Verruckt Stauphman. yet another, a blood red book stood beside the green one, the title of this one being Kings of Draxon: The facts behind the Legends. the books went on for another 3 rows, each book looking stranger and more eye catching than the last. on top of them were several jars, some carrying strange, glowing flowers, others containing strange fruits that seemed to naturally grow in rings, purple gem-like bulges growing in the side of the fruits. there was also a small wooden chest at the foot of the 'shelves', wrapped tightly in black chains and occasionally giving an eerie hiss, seemingly aggravated by Desrium's approach...
"Ah...Well, do be more careful with your adatas. Would be a pity if they were all blown while scaring little girls wrapped in seal skins" stated Andruil with a smile as he led Furax forward, the horse nickering in a way one could swear was amusement, as if chuckling at the comment...
"Ah yes, organised chaos. the sign of a clever but ever-busy mind. To the perpetrator, a carefully woven web of belongings and intrigue, but to the bystander? Madness!"
