Alecia inhaled slowly, trying to ignore the pain in her thigh. The shaft of an arrow was lodged in it, and she had not even a rag to stop the bleeding if she were to pull the projectile out. The pain, growing greater and greater as the adrenaline from the fight wore off, brought the young assasin closer and closer to finally passing out. After walking for three hours and finally comeing upon a dirt road, she collapsed to her knees, wiped the blood off her cheek, and hit the ground, thrusting clouds of dirt and dried leaves into the air. There she laid for some time, deep in slumber.

Andruil cringed as his hands covered his ears, the pain making his head spin, the sheer volume of the screech agony on his sensitive ears. it was all he could do to avoid yelling out in pain, not wanting to blow whatever semblance of cover they still had left...

As Septimus glided through the air above, he caught sight of an odd shape on the ground below. the faint trace of blood on the air pressed his curiosity. it was a person, laying on the ground, and from what he could smell and see, bleeding, though the source of the injury was nowhere to be seen. swerving his tail downwards, he tucked his wings in, the tail fin catching the air and driving him downwards into a dive, the Dragon plummeting from the sky rapidly, spreading his wings at the last minute, beating them powerfully as he landed with a powerful thump beside the fallen girl, a thick cloud of dust kicked up from his landing. Eyeing the girl inquisitively through his cyan and black eyes, he noted the arrow in her thigh. "Hmm..." murmured the Dragon thoughtfully, as he spread a clawed hand over the wound, his eyes beginning to glow a rich cyan colour as streaks of cyan energy ran down his arm, swirling around the arrow and into the wound, the Dragon studying the injury to figure out how best to treat it...

"It's leaving!" called out the surviving soldiers, cheering, as others among them rushed to the wounded and the dead, trying to help as many of their brethren as they could, the Commander watching the monster disappear into the distance...

Desrium laid limp, thrown from the side of the dragon's bag by his sudden descent. Strangely enough the rapid increase in G-force wasn't felt by him, as he remained asleep upon the chained up chest. His arms were spread over it and one leg draped off of it. His scabbard was a few feet away. After a moment, the gray plated being shifted, raising his head from the black box. "I do not recall laying here..." He thought, staring down upon it

Nitsunobue soon stops his screech, hearing the roars of challenge from the dragons above. His eyes narrowed, his pupils shrunk, every muscle in his body tensed up. This is what he had come for- a fight! for the first time in his life, someone challenged HIM, instead of HIM challenging someone! In but a matter of seconds, Nitsunobue went from an ally to a formidable opponent. With a ferocious roar, the Horned Tyrant bursts forth from the forest, crouched low to the ground, intent on combat with both the dragons and the people they were escorting.

To the hapless beings that had inadvertantly provoked him, he must have looked like the devil himself: a huge, muscular beast, easily dwarfing even the largest among them, with seemingly oversized horns upon his humongous skull. Wounds along his spine and tail that marked where Zazikel's flames had torched him, an absolutely gigantic tail, armed with two heavy plates of bone on either side, and tusks like that of an Oni certainly did no favors to make him appear to be anything less than a demon in draconian form...

Alecia's mind was working overtime, she was seeing her memories, clouded and mixed with dreams and nightmares. Her deep crimson eyes fluttered open for a second, but she only caught a glimpse of her own hair tangled in front of her face. Before once again slipping back into dreams, she felt an almost pleasent sensation in her thigh where she had been hit by the arrow. Too weak and tired to think more deeply about it, she passed out again, into fretfull dreams, unkowingly tossing and turning on the dirt road.

Thems stabbed her necks into the horde of creatures, making certain not to harm any soldiers as her necks came back with 4 dead Nethrezim, before she hurled them away. "FALL BACK TO THE CASTLE!" one of the soldiers ordered as the armed forces began to fall back, keeping thei shields aimed toward the front , while the archers still fired out. THe massive female Orochi seeing the soldiers begin to leave, inhaled, before expelling out clouds of toxic fumes, the cloudsfloating around at more or less the same level that the things were flying at... SHe wanted to rid the city of these creatures while mniimalizing what harm she did to those living here...

Akuro stopped at the edge of the moor, the wolf-like demon curious. This would be a perfet castle for him to rule over, once his plans came unto fruitation... He COULD have just jumped over, but... he perferred to wait...

As Lamia got Dione back up onto her feet, the large gang leader grabbed her by the neck and smashed her into the ground, before doing it again, and again, and again. Dione tried to hurry over to help Lamia, but the shock from her beating, cold, and loss of blood made her weak, and she was begining to slip away. As she finally collapsed onto the snow, the last thing she saw was the bully sent flying through the air, and Lamia hurrying over to her, her entire body glowing...

Dione sighed as the memory passed. She had woken up back in her own bed, with Jeetis and Lamia comforting her. Lamia told her that she had sent the gang leader packing, and that Jeetis was already hard at work finding and excommunicating the gang leader and his croonies, which he was quick to affirm. Lamia closed her eyes once again. That one memory stood out in her mind while most of the others had drifted away. Why was it, she didn't know...

Soem orcs stood upon the walls of the fortification, looknig down at the wolf demon.

"State your name, creature, and what buisness brings you to Gorgoroth.

"Yeah- maybe then, we won't have to eat you!"

The two creatures chuckle, waiting for an answer...

The Dragon finally sighed, the girl floating into the air as he snapped the back end of the arrow off, tossing it aside, a short, narrow, focused stream of flames hitting the splintered tip, burning away the splinters as the Dragon did his best to keep from burning anything else. once he was sure the arrow was clean he gripped it from the head, pulling it out of the wound, the Dragon's eyes shimmering as streaks of white light swirled around the wound, flitting into the bleeding hole, passing over it, and even drifting back and forth under the skin, across the wound, as the flesh knitted itself back together, nerves being recovered as the Dragon struggled to heal the injury...

A few moments of effort saw the wound scabbed, the majority of the damage underneath healed, the Dragon panting tiredly. He hated using magic this complex. repairing damaged tissue was one of the most difficult kinds of magic out there, because of the fact he was basically giving life to dead tissue; something that required a lot of mana to achieve. but at last, the wound was mostly healed. the girl would survive, though the pain of having one's own flesh knit itself together was likely one she would not forget soon...

Meanwhile, the chained black chest that was now beneath Desrium began to rumble lowly, a demonic growl coming from within, the contents of the chest evidently not pleased with its situation...

Furax reared fearfully as the Wyvern emerged, throwing Vix off his back as he bolted into the forest, Andruil lunging out, catching Vix as she fell and setting her down on her feet, drawing his sword as the beast roared, the mostly black blade shimmering with white runes, though they had faded somewhat since earlier. the Wyvern was large...and undoubtedly dangerous....they'd need to be wary. one wrong move could see them killed...

The Stormweaver flew over Germania, the distant sounds of combat ringing out over a city in the distance. at this height, most creatures wouldn't see him amidst the clouds...which served the purpose of observing the source of his interest well...

Alecia's eyes snapped open in an instant. Pain. All she knew right now was pain. Her muscles tense and felt as if they where pulling her down, her body twisted arund as she screamed in agony. Moments later after the dust settled around her, and the pain subsided to a dull throb. The young assasin began to calm down, and looked aorund. A massive figure shrouded by darkness stood above her, blocking out the light of the moon. She looked up at the Reptillian gaint standing over her. Basic insticts of fear kicked in, she forgot all her training for a moment and let fear guide her actions. She rolled backwards, still attempting to stand up, and pulled out her katana as her entire body trembled. Looking up at the beast, her hood casting a shadow over her face, shrouding it and makeing only her crimson eyes and hair able to be seen. She slowly said in a voice obviously laced with confusion and fear, "Wha- what are you and what do yoo- yooo- you want?"

"Where is my blade..." Desrium thought as he sat up on the box, not so much as being oblivious to the presence within it, but ignoring it all together. Looking around the bag for a moment, he was quick to find the black sheath, and likewise was quick to retrieve it, dropping down from the chest to pick it up. After reattaching it to his back, the armored being turned around to face the chest, now ready to deal with the unearthly rumbling coming from within.

Mordecai squawked in fright and flew off, trying to find a hiding place in the trees. Tetto'eko, however, was more used to massive carnivorous beasts lunging out of the forest. After he recovered from the bellow, he stood straight, keeping his distance from the wyvern while he prepared a spell, having no qualms about killing the beast if necessary...

Another visitor hovered in the dark clouds above Germani's capital, still in a form of a living shadowy mass. Zazikel had arrived mere minutes ago, patiently waiting to see how the battle below would end, hidden by the darkness, as well as the cloud cover...

Septimus chuckled warmly at the girl's reaction, his cyan pupils glowing in the darkness, the black sclera they were set against only accentuating the glow. shimmering whitish blue runes decorated the Dragon's arms, face and forehead, a pair of Celtic Trinity symbols on the Dragon's wings' shoulders. "Careful or you'll hurt yourself again" growled Septimus as he eyed the girl, her sword gaining an unnatural weight, seeming too heavy for her arm to carry as the Dragon psychically forced it downwards, though making sure to do so in such a way it wouldn't be noticed by the girl, instead making it seem to be her own exhaustion. "Answering your questions, I am Septimus. A Hueilin Dragon" he explained...

As the Nethrezim continued to evade the Orochi and attack the fleeing inhabitants, a large translucent sphere shot across the length of the town, passing through arrows and Nethrezim alike without incident, before stopping in the midst of the chaos. Suddenly, the orb ignited in a blaze of light, so bright that it completely illuminated the town and the surrounding area, visible for miles like a miniature sun. The Nethrezim reacted at once: they howled, shrieked, and screeched, fleeing madly from the light, which they believed to be the actual sun. The hive mind-like intelligence also alerted those invading the homes of the inhabitants, telling them to flee to the safety of the dark. The light was so bright that any who looked directly at it had to divert their eyes or risk blindness. A robed figure on one of the far walls was seen with an outstretched hand pointing at the sphere, the old woman shaking with the effort to maintain the light...

Chromatus could feel he was gaining on the dragon...it had stopped its flight, and now he had a chance to near...

Thems howled in shock and alarm as she was blinded by the lights. The serpent closed all 8 sets of eyes, using her sense of smell and hearing to track the fleeing Netherzim. One head turned, picking up the scent of the old woman, curious about it...

On a nearby rooftop, Guame simply sat and watched, the old armadillo beastman holding a hand over his eyes to protect himself from the glare. He had been watching the whole spectacle, and had been about to step in when this light appeared. "So there are still humans here with magic..." Guame sighed to himself. He then shifted his gaze downward, toward the soldiers that were cowering in fear and fleeing toward the castle to tell Trajan of what was happening. They had done their best, but against a foe like this, one that Guame had only heard about in rumor, they had been terribly outclassed. They were after all only human... The armadillo's right eye then shifted over to the side, almost as if looking at nothing... "I know you've also been here watching, demon. Reveal yourself..." Guame ordered, the pipe in his mouth blowing smoke. At first, there was no response, but after a second or two, the old beastman could hear laughter coming from the shadows... He had been right.

Akuro glared upward at the orcs, lightning flying from his fur and striking the nearby ground. Oh how he would love to rip these poor fools apart... but, for now he would play by their rules, even if he perferred not mentioning his own name. Secrecy was, after all, his favorite tactic. "The name is Akuro, and I have been given this scroll by a certain individual." Akuro growled as he hurled the scroll out of his mouth and toward the nearest Orc...

It wasn't long before the Nethrezim completely abandoned the city, and with them gone, the light diminished. Although they would take note of the lack of light, the shock of the incident had been enough to send them fleeing to the underground...until the next night, of course. The old woman fell on one knee, the strain of such a powerful spell difficult to bare in her current form...

The orc picks it up and quickly skims it over.

"Alright." He turns to his left and shouts.

"Open the gates!"

A horn blows, followed by the grutns of Olog-Hai, and soon, enough, the heavy, black iron gates creak open, inviting the Kitsune inside....

The 5 are soon stopped at a cross-road, where people wandered about either on foot or in a carriage, moving out of the way for the prince. "This is as far as we can take you, but Kiara's home is just a couple of city blocks away from here. We have to head back now," was all that he said as the assassin dismounted the white horse she was on...

The prince didn't respond at all as he and, the archer and the knight rode off. "Well, I could show you the vast ocean tomorrow, but I think we should get some rest first. We don't have to walk much to get to my home," Kiara said, before heading towards her house.

The army marched on, staying in columns for now. They'd get out of those columns once it was time to attack, and attempt to do what they can to stop Draco and his army. If they had to retreat, however, they would. They'd leave the wounded at the kingdom and go in with the remainder of the first attack force and the reserves...

Laura smiles and says, "That would be nice." she then followed Kiara...

The walls of Freyr-lunge were still lined with archers, but they were quickly growing bored. How did the guards do this all night long and not get tired?...

Militia men in the towns away from the capitol city did their own things....
