"We are not the enemy, Wyvern! I don't want to fight you.....but if you force me, I will kill you" growled Andruil, the growl reverberating almost unnaturally loudly, seeming to rumble in the very chests of those around them, powerful enough to be felt, the Werewolf's eyes shimmering eerily as he stared the Wyvern in the eye, fangs bared...

"Hiba nooby guise. aket emter ooti teh bosar" warbled one of the mermen as Septimus approached, a number of others rising from various spots, some hidden in seaweed, others buried in the sand and silt, the group surrounding the Dragon and nodding towards the entrance. The Dragon considered resisting, but quickly shrugged the idea off. If he was correct, this was a civilisation that hadn't been exposed to the outside world in centuries. If he resisted, he'd never learn anything about them. So with a shrug, the Dragon swam with them, heading towards the entrance to the metropolis, several of the mermen aiming staves and tridents at, surprisingly, Desrium, rather than himself. But then, when one thought about it...perhaps it wasn't so strange afterall...

Suddenly, a small shape dropped down on Nitsunobue's back, between his wings, from the skies above. With a furious hiss, Mordecai stabbed the wyvern in his back several times with his stinger-tipped tail, striking the same spot repeatedly to try and pierce the scales and inject his soporific venom...

Desrium raised a hand sluggishly as he looked at the crowd of aquatic men. He greeted them with more bubbles that poured out of his open mouth, the small orbs rushing upwards. He watched a few of the mermen jab their staffs and spears at him in response and ceased his attempt to appeal to what seemed to be soldiers...

With a growl, Nitsunobue's angry side takes over completely, nearly snuffing out the small glimmer of his kind side left. The wyvern swiped his forearm under Andruil's form and flung him into the ground, shakily rising to his feet and letting out a roar whilst doing so.

"FOOL, WYVERN FRIEND NOT HERE NOW! ONLY I REMAIN!"

The stinger did little but irritate him, but the monstrous wyvern soon rolled over on the floor, attempting to crush the irritating pseudodragon beneath his tonnage.....

Mordecai's reflexes were fast enough that he could flutter off the wyvern's back as he rolled over, before simply landing on his stomach and stinging again at the softer underbelly, desperate to knock Nitsunobue out with his venom as quickly as possible...

A voice reaches out to Mordecai, sounding very weak.

"Must calm me down..... angry side try to kill otherwise.... help...."

Nitsunobue on the outside, however, attempts to crush Mordecai again, this time smashing his form down towards the ground.

Once again, Mordecai took off, casting in own irritated thought into Nitsunobue's mind, hovering above the enraged wyvern. "I'd love to knock him out cold, but I need to find a spot to sting! Please tell me you--er, he, um--YOU GUYS have a weak spot somewhere?!"

Nitsunobue's voice of reason entered Mordecai's head.

"At the base of tail. Only weak spot. Otherwise, only irritate him."

Nitsunobue screams in anger.

"SHUT UP! WILL DESTROY THEM ALL!"

If Mordecai could have grinned well, he would have. "Naptime, big guy!" The Psuedodragon zipped over to Nitsunobue's thrashing tail, latching onto its base and stinging as hard as he could. The venom would take about a minute to actually knock him out cold, but as long as he could inject it, they were home free...

The wyvern roared in anger, trashing about more in an attempt to make Mordecai relinquish his grip. However, he could feel his muscles weakening from the venom already. He had little time to fight....

Satisfied with his handiwork, Mordecai let himself be launched in the air by the flailing wyvern, spreading his wings and gliding away from Nitsunobue...

Nistunobue this time locked on to Arsenic, twin vapors bursting from his nostrils, before he rushed them, ready to crush them....

Akuro kept on the move, ignoring the weight of the unconcious dragon on his back. He could easilly find his way back down to the castle, based on visual memory alone, though for now, he followed the Masked Man...

I flooks could kill, then the almost unseeable side glare that Mara gave the Black King would have set him, and all the dwarves in the castle on fire from the inside out. She got up as well and followed Sharavuras. She had had it with these dwarves...

Soon, Sharavuras and Mara were out of the throne room and storming down through the hall, and finally exitted the Zi-Mal.

"You did well," Sharavuras spoke mentally. "I am impressed none of them lost their heads today."

The forest soon came into view again, as the group soared high in the sky. Bardhvadok stirred a bit, but seemed to be asleep still. The Stalkers watched ahead, looking for signs of the wasteland and, ultimately, Gorgoroth....

Mara sighed. "Yes... Thank you for reminding me of why I love to burn dwarves so much." Mara grumbled, gripping her staff tightly. Where her hands were holding the staff began to smoke, though right now it was barely noticable...

Akuro darted along the ground, making certain not to drop his sleeping cargo. Having abandoned his flying host, he now had to head back to the castle on foot. This wasn't particularily hard for the Kitsune, thnakis to his swiftness and speed...

Sharavuras mounted Thundarong, and cawaited Mara to mount her steed.

"I hate them as much as you do, but Lord Burzum requires their allegience more than ever."

The Stalkers soared high overhead, watching Akuro dart between the trees. The Masked man noted that the trees were slowly thinning; they drew close to home, but were still a ways away....

Nitsunobue was interrupted by a small burst of lightning that hit him in the side, scorching his scaly flank. Tetto'eko's spell was not fully-charged, bu the Priest had no intention of killing the wyvern if he could help it. A short mental conversation with Mordecai had confirmed that the Pseudodragon's venom would knock him out in little time anyway, so it was best to simply distract him until he finally keeled over...

The lightning bolt shocks the wyvern, causing him to bellow in pain, as he slows his charge and instead charges the skink. However, this charge very slow compared to his previous assaults, showing the venom was beginning to take affect...

Rapid-firing his spells now, Tetto'eko launches another one right into the wyvern's face, stunning it long enough for him to skitter to the side, trying to keep his distance from the beast...

Almost as the beast was stunned, a roaring Andruil shot out of the undergrowth at the wyvern's side, slamming in full force against the beast's flank, the mass of the Werewolf and speed of the charge knocking the dazed Wyvern off it's feet, the Werewolf leaping off the beast's flank as it hit the ground a number of feet away, a clawed hand slamming into the trunk of a tree as Andruil swung around, standing on one of the tree's thick branches as he prepared to attack again if the beast attempted to stand...

Septimus swam towards the shimmering circular barrier to the metropolis, noting that it looked surprisingly like the surface of the water from below, warbling like a large liquid mirror. The Dragon turned to look at the guards escorting him, only to see them jab with their Tridents, avoiding actually touching him or Desrium, but getting the point across. With a rumbling sigh, The Dragon drifted forward through the shimmering surface, two guards disappearing through it before him...

The strange sensation of sudden dryness engulfed him as he passed, the barrier seemingly pulling every drop of water covering his form as he passed through, the Dragon's eyes opening widely as he passed through, landing on dry, solid ground, glancing around. they were in a large circular room. the walls were lined with ornate, glowing shell-like formations, acting as the lighting, the shells varying with different colours, from warming golds to vibrant blues and greens. tables occupied by off-duty guards filled the room, the laughing and joking becoming an eerie stony silence almost the instant Septimus entered, the relatively large Dragon looking considerably more intimidating when standing at his full height, cyan iris shimmering as his gaze fell on each of them in turn. their faces were sleek and seemed somewhere on the way of becoming fish-like, their noses reduced to slits and their eyes having a dark shimmering brown shade. their teeth were shark-like, though otherwise the same size as human teeth. their ears had receeded, becoming smaller, the earlobe fused to the skull. some had long whiskers, comparable to the ones Septimus himself would have one day, hanging from their upper lip downwards, ending in small shimmering bioluminscent bulges. At each one's waist was a jagged blade that seemed to be made of what could, in Septimus' mind, have been shards of one of the massive shells that made up the city, elaborate brown and purple patterns scrawled across the turqoise blades, which bared remarkable similarity to the one Desrium carried, though unlike his dark, cracked-looking one, these reminded him of the carapace of one of the giant Karabas Lobsters that he used to feed on in his home in the Kirrahara mountains. around him, the mermen that were escorting him leapt through the barrier, Septimus' eyes widening as the scaly tails around their legs suddenly faded into skin and clothing, the men becoming robed with rich green armour plating as a robe swirled around their shoulders. "asahaulo hackanooby. Bosar dun yay intaderpa" said the most senior looking of the guards, as a thunk was heard as the base of the trident jabbed against Septimus's scales, the Dragon seeming oddly concentrated, having tapped into the guard's mind as he spoke. "Get moving, Intruder. The King dislikes waiting" was the thought that came parallel to the Guard's words. Was this the Zuppo language? he thought. It was strange. unlike anything he had heard so far in Aster. relenting, Septimus edged forward slowly...
