at the sound of the squawk, Shiryaz's pupils dilated, the golden eyes almost turning entirely black with the scale of the pupils as his own sharp squawk responded to the gryphon. Andruil chuckled as he eyed Thalion. "Are they well trained enough that they wouldn't fly off if given a bit of freedom? I don't think I would be able to provide enough to feed them myself. At least not comfortably" he inquired, at present unaware of Myrn's actions. in a small satchel slung from his back was a piece of dried beef, though the angle meant the gryphon would have to press her head into it to get at the morsel....
The Archknight watched the patients with a scrutinising gaze as the two Vindicators split up, walking across the chamber as they eyed the patients' various stages. Some had swollen lumps on various parts of their bodies. others had pink flesh, still others were bleeding out the ears, and in some of the more extreme cases, a few had traces of blackening of their fingertips and toes. "I see. Interesting you'd mention him. He is an acquaintance of mine. I was supposed to meet him here for some odd reason. It appears I've beaten him to you however" growled Septimus with a grunt. "Would you, by chance, have any merchants or libraries I could take a glance at? I'd very much like to buy a few good books" he added with an eager smile that seemed, to the layman, uncharacteristic of a Dragon of such size and power...
"Ah yes, organised chaos. the sign of a clever but ever-busy mind. To the perpetrator, a carefully woven web of belongings and intrigue, but to the bystander? Madness!"
