A rumbling growl echoed over the soldiers as Arashi circled above, electricity crackling across his form, the Dragon entertained by their discomfort. Deciding to push things up a notch, he opened his jaws, unleashing a bolt of lightning, which hit the ground only a metre off from Smaug's tail, the surroundings scorched black by the intensity of the heat generated by the electrical charge, the boom over head as it was unleashed no weaker than a genuine thunderclap...
As Andruil walked into the inn, he was greeted by the sound of banging. To one side of the inn, the Innkeeper was hammering on a door. "Damn it Urist! Yer a plump 'elmet salesman! Not a bloody mason! stop feckin' chisellin' things into mah kitchen wall!" yelled the Innkeeper furiously. "NEVA!" responded a muffled voice behind the door. Andruil was about to walk over to help, when he noticed the drunkards from earlier that day still littering the floor around the main hall. There was one odd complication however. Most of them were partially, if not totally stripped of their belongings. "This place is insane" muttered the knight as he pressed his thumb and middle fingers against his temples, his palm pressed against his forehead as he shook his head in disbelief. Walking over to the Innkeeper, he regained his composure. "Need a hand?" he inquired. "Aye. that bloody idiot's carving things into my wall, an' 'es locked 'imself in!" responded the disgruntled Dwarf, before pounding the door once more. "URIST! OUT!". "NEVA!" responded Urist behind the door. "Do you have a problem with me breaking down the door?" asked Andruil. "Whatever it takes! Jus' get tha' lunatic outta ma kitchen!" responded the Innkeeper, Andruil nodding. Taking a step back to give himself the room, he lifted a foot, throwing his weight against the door with one viciously powerful kick, the lock splintering as the door swung inwards, the Dwarf beyond the door still chiselling away, the image on the wall difficult to make out at first. The Innkeeper ran in, tackling Urist to the ground. "BEHOLD! THE FORGOTTEN BEAST! DUSAK GULGUNNUGLUS, THE THREE EYED ***!" ranted the pinned Dwarf. "What the bloody-" muttered the Innkeeper as he stared at the image. The figure was indeed, a 3 eyed ***, with thin, demonic wings, walking on 6 hoofed feet, the strange beast unleashing a jet of flames on a small figure that seemed to be a Dwarf, with a fortress in the background and piles of circular shapes that looked much like the cheese the Dwarves were eating alongside their ales the previous evening. "It will descend upon Dwarfkind, and NONE will be able to oppose it!" ranted the Dwarf. Andruil, deciding it was probably a good idea to finish his work here and leave before the madness began to affect him, excused himself, leaving the Innkeeper to deal with the mad Dwarf, and heading upstairs. Opening the door, he walked in, glancing around at the others in the room. Tetto'eko was meditating, and Vix seemed preoccupied with her kitten. Arsenic however, was nowhere to be seen. "You ready to pick up your new weapons, Vix?" he asked...
Having finally reached the inn, Septimus lowered his head slightly, the Dragon's sizeable skull held just over Urlox's shoulder, making it look, were it not for the immense size, that Septimus' head was sprouting from the man's shoulder. "Think she'd be concerned seeing a Dragon?" inquired Septimus, his tone partially amused, as though the odd appearance of the duo was intended...
The Archknight's eyes glared as runes along the length of his blade flashed, the Vindicator's staff shimmering, light pulsing between the cracks and runes of the dark weapon as the two headed forward towards the cemetary, preparing to face the Demon beyond...
"Ah yes, organised chaos. the sign of a clever but ever-busy mind. To the perpetrator, a carefully woven web of belongings and intrigue, but to the bystander? Madness!"
