Well, Damaar was hit once or twice [though his extremely poky nature caused one of said hits to be nearly fatal, as you noted]. but you have to take into account size and strength come at the price of speed. and your snake is ridiculously huge. plus, as a result of the way constrictors move in general, at that size the movements are predictable. Damaar, meanwhile, is defined by being a fast and furious fighter. overwhelming force delivered over a very small period of time. can dish out a lot of damage really fast, and if you're not properly equipped, almost impossible to stop before he's done a considerable amount of damage. So yeah, Squama chose the wrong guy to **** with, basically.
He was designed to be almost unbeatable one on one. Sure, it's possible, but unlikely. hell, when **** goes down, odds are Horus is gonna go hunting for allies to help him out. This guy basically destroyed Horus's homeworld; their original home...
"Ah yes, organised chaos. the sign of a clever but ever-busy mind. To the perpetrator, a carefully woven web of belongings and intrigue, but to the bystander? Madness!"
