Crusher entered the small lake slowly, and rippled his tail to propel him forward through the water, the cool liquid being forced to the sides as his body drifted through. he dove below, submersing his body fully in the water of the lake. after feeling he had been cleaned satisfactorilly, he left the lake and went to start a patrol. his skin glistened as the heat from the morning sun dried him. he started on his patrol, starting from the northern edge and walking in a clockwise direction...
"Run!" barked Midnight as he ran down the mountain side, with the others in hot pursuit. the Bary followed them for a while, but at the bottom of the mountain, it was knocked to the ground with a loud slam. the turned to look to see a very large Carnotaur biting it on the neck, it's foot on the Bary's side and a deep wound in the Bary's neck closer to the head, where the Carnotaur's horn had hit. "Shade!" snarled Fatalis. soon, 2 Raptors showed up. "Fatalis! you're back!". Fatalis turned to see Swift and Amber staring at him happily. they were unusually close to eachother. "Let's go. there are more predators than that chasing us. we need to get to Crusher to make sure they dont follow us". a booming roar was heard as a large Acrocanthosaur showed up near the start of the incline. Shade snarled "Let's go!" as he appeared beside them, blood on his jaws. the Raptors started running, Fatalis easily taking the lead, with Swift close behind him, and Midnight after that, with BloodClaw, BlackStorm only slightly behind ShadowFang, with Shade deliberately taking up the rear, protecting them from any fast attacker. soon, the gap between them and Crusher's North Eastern Border had gone, but the predators were still chasing them, ignoring all territorial borders. to the group's astonishment, in front of them, stood the immense form of the predator they came here to see. the massive Tyrannosaur known as Crusher, was patrolling his territory, and as soon as Shade saw him, he revealed himself and made a roar that caught the Rex's attention immediately...
Crusher turned his head towards the source of the roar, and spotted Shade, Fatalis and a bunch of other raptors he didn't know, one of them looking like Fatalis but with longer feather quills on it's head, reminding him somewhat of a Parasaurolophus, with a feather fan growing on the tail. behind them he could spot movement in the trees. Crusher nodded to the Raptors and Carnotaur as they ran towards him. he growled "Stand behind me. I'll hold them off". the Raptors and Carnotaur did as they were told, hiding behind the massive form of the Tyrant Lizard King. the Acrocanthosaur charged through the trees, with another of it's kind, much smaller than itself, and a Sucho by its side. the Acrocanthosaur, the largest of the three, stepped forward and roared "All we want are the Raptors and the Carnotaur, Rex. stand aside and let us have them, and we will leave". Crusher roared "You are tresspassing on my territory, and i will not give them to you". The Acro snarled and then roared "I'm afraid you misunderstand the situation, Rex. we aren't asking you to give them to us. we're TELLING YOU". a couple of Gigas not too far away raised their heads and looked at the scene as they heard what the Acrocanthosaur had said. "Who do you think? Acro or Crusher?". the other grunted "The Acro's dead. no way for it to win". the first Giga snarled "well, it's not too small. i think it might have a chance". the other Giga grunted "You're not serious...right? that's Crusher we're talking about here!". the first one fell silent, knowing his sibling was right. Crusher roared "Well, if you want them, you'll have to get past me first". The Acro snarled "So be it!". he roared and charged. Crusher snarled "Go to the nest! i'll meet you there!". the raptors nodded, and Fatalis led them to Crusher's nest, while Shade disappeared, and moved away from the main fighting area, but staying close, just incase something didn't go according to plan. Crusher ducked as the Acro neared him, and moved forward, tripping it over his massive body. Crusher stood up, and stared at the Acro, as it got up. it snarled and Crusher made a territorial roar that shook the area. the Sucho immediately turned and ran in the opposite direction, almost out of instinct, while the smaller Acro stood there, fixated at the fight between his father and the Tyrannosaur. Crusher looked at the Acrocanthosaur as it charged at him, only to get knocked to the side by Crusher's massive head. it hadn't fallen, but it was made to run past Crusher, before skidding to a hault and turning around. it walked up to him, and tried to bit him on the leg, but Crusher pounded it on the back once, with enough force to break some of the elongated spines on it's back. it snarled in pain, and was grabbed by the neck. it was at least 20 feet shorter in length than Crusher, at least 10 feet shorter in height, and obviously much lighter, as Crusher had then done something that left all witnesses wide eyed afterwards. Crusher bit down hard on the base of the neck, and heaved upwards, lifting it off it's feet, the Acro squirming as it tried to break free of the massive Tyrannosaur's grip, before being thrown back down like a mere toy, it's body slamming hard as it landed on the ground, several ribs breaking from the impact. Crusher looked down, as it tried it's best to get onto it's feet, but only succeding to turn it's head to look at the Tyrannosaur, as his massive jaws slammed down on it's neck for the last time, crushing the bone with shear force. Crusher turned around to look at the other Acrocanthosaur, to see it still looking on in shock. he snarled "Leave, or you'll suffer the same fate your father faced". the Acro nodded frightenedly, and then turned around and ran off. a booming victory roar echoed throughout the island, and Crusher stared walking towards the nest, Shade following close behind, and the Gigas looking on in pure shock...
