Fatalis hissed "Well, of course, not having prior experience with the true meaning of being a Lone Wolf, you wouldn't have paid attention to what happened in those last few moments before the fight. we Lone Wolves live by a strict "code". those who ignore it, are left to face what becomes of their mistakes. that dead Raptor was no longer considered a Lone Wolf by the time he attacked. he broke one of the codes we lived by as Lone Wolves, and therefore, seperated himself from the Lone Wolves. having done it in the past and having been warned, those two Raptors left him because they no longer considered him one of them. and they were right in their actions. word of the Raptor's demise soon spread, having once been a prominent member of the Lone Wolves. however, having broken a code which could endanger other Lone Wolves, it was decided that no vengeance should be taken on his behalf. as for you seeing me and other Lone Wolves, you should keep in mind there are many of us, and all of us are roaming loners, not bound to any place on the island. one day you may find me on the northern edge overlooking the sea on a cliff, and a couple of days later, find me on the other side of the island, trying to catch one of those long fish that dwell in the shallow rivers there. the same applies to all Lone Wolves. so dont be surprised if you see many of us. i remember glimpsing something while i was hunting a few days ago. looking at you now, i realise there's no other explanation than that you were what i saw then. after that, i was under an impulse to find out what had happened to you, since i had recently been asked by Shadowleaf to keep an eye out for you. and that is how i heard of what happened between you and...that raptor, and i was told you ad been last seen at an area west of Steeltalon's home. so i followed, and arrived at the cave Steeltalon lived. had it not been for my worry of setting off Darkness' unusually short and un-aimed temper, i would have continued until i actually found you. as for your feelings through this whole scenario, i dont blame you for thinking we were after you, looking over what had happened. if i were in your position, i'd've thought so too". Fatalis took another bite out of the compy, this time from it's flank, and downed the flesh before watching SoftFoot....
"Ah yes, organised chaos. the sign of a clever but ever-busy mind. To the perpetrator, a carefully woven web of belongings and intrigue, but to the bystander? Madness!"
