I finish eating my pterosaur. I go to a river, and drink. I then go back to my den, and fall asleep.

Crusher continued walking, and came across the scent of a Troodon. from the scent of it, this one was alone.....
Crusher continued, the unconscious Shadow in his jaws....

Meanwhile, Hunter had heard the Victory barks, and decided to investigate. he went and found his father was gone, the guards slaughtered, with meany seemingly disappearing [which made Hunter growl "Dad...definately dad" to himself with a cheerful reptilian grin], and Shadow along with them. he expected he was probably with his father, being taken to some unknown place, as was Crusher's way with enemies he couldn't kill for one reason or another. the last one to get that punishment was a very young Bary who Crusher didn't have the heart to kill. he saw the entire pack cheering. then, he heard a sound by his side. it was Rampage. she growled "I think there's something you might want to see, Hunter". Hunter looked at his mother in surprise. she was always the stealthiest Rex around...Crusher even mentioned that she sometimes reminded him of his own mother. Hunter followed Rampage back to the nest, to find Lightning's egg in the middle of the nest, moving...

I wake up, and go on patrol of my territory. I smell a pack of rexes nearby, so I turn around. I chase away an annoying compy, and after a drink, go back to my den.

Exile and Rawhide stayed back while Scar met Jade. They didn't feel comfortable intruding straight away. As Scar introduced them, they stepped forward, and looked at Jade.

She seemed perfectly fine, it looked like she didn't have to go through any hardship to escape Shadow. "She must have just slipped away one night" Exile thought to herself

Soon, Jade was ready to leave, and the four of them started to begin their long journey home.

Hunter watched with interest, and saw the young Rex escape the shells that had contained it until now. it escaped ,and made a little roar, calling to it's mother. Hunter immediately knew that it was a female....Hunter nuzzled his newborn hatchling, and she chirped, bit on his nose gently. Hunter growled gently, his eyes revealing the loving look only a father could have. Lightning moved in, and nuzzled the youngster...Rox....her name would be Rox. the 2 new parents sad by their youngster, watching over her lovingly. Rampage looked at Lightning. she looked just like she did, back when Hunter was born. she went out, to do some hunting...

Rampage arrived at the plains and watched the Parasaurs moving around as usual. she prepared for an attack. as soon as a young adult lowered it's head, she charged out. the herd went into a stampede, but Rampage was fast enough to catch her target as it reached it's full speed, following it's herd. she was tired after the chase, and pulled the kill back to the nest, before going to sleep beside her son and her egg...it was due to hatch soon....

Scar and the others continued home, and as they continued he found himself feeling more and more sorry about how he had spent the years with Jade. He felt he had barely paid attention to her, and now he had almost lost her. After they stopped for the night, he found himself asking how he could have done this to her. So he decided to try again. Jade, how come you've never told me about your childhood?

Because you never asked, she snarled. I take it that you want to know about it? Scar said yes, and Jade started. My father was killed by a Spinosaur shortly before I was born. I had 5 siblings when I was growing up, though only 3 of them survived. I learned how to hunt from my mother, who taught me that agility is better than brute force. I remember that one of my first taste of meat was an Oviraptor chick my parents found at an undefended nest...

Darkness awoke finally and decided to go hunting before he continued his search for his pack mates. He spotted a Gallimimus, a lone one, and started to stalk it. He ran out eventually and jumped onto it. His experiance with Gallimimus was over a normal raptor's. He bit its neck and jumped back as it fell dead. Darkness began eating, still thinking about his brother. But he didn't get to eat long for apearing through the jungle was his brother. Darkness froze out of fear. How did you find me? Its....impossible growled Darkness backing slowly away. Onarus said nothing as he made a slow aproach. Darkness screeched and howled at his brother. Onarus did the same to him. Darkness finaly decided to leave his meal and run.

Nowhere was safe for him with Onarus alive. And he couldn't go back to the pack seeing as the current leader wantig him dead. As he raced into the jungle he started sniffing for the only one able to help, Scar. But then he again thought of a problem. He didn't know where Scar was and even then, he didn't think Scar would help him. Darkness then thought of Exile, Rawhide, and Sharpclaw. But they also had problems of their own. Darkness was running out of ideas. He then remembered the Tyrannosaurus famly. He could stay there. Onarus isn't good enough to take on a Tyrannosaurus let alone the biggest Tyrannosaurus... growled Darkness to himself. He wondered what they would do, they really didn't like him either.

He decided to stop his search for awhile to go to a river and drink. He laped up the cool water. When he was finished he settled down in a bunch of tree roots that blocked most predators from coming in.

Scar and Jade stayed at the back of the group, letting Exile and Rawhide take the lead. Jade had finished her story about her childhood before they had fallen asleep, but when they had woken up and continued back to the pack, Scar still wanted to know more about his mate. What she felt about the Spinos, or living on Crusher's territory, or her fighting techniques. He no longer felt ashamed of how he had been to Jade, he was just glad that he still had a chance with her.

Ripper watched the foursome as they approached their home and growled, So this... is how Scar's story ends. Otalp stood behind him, carefully following his brother.

Wow, fascinating. Can I go find that Troodon now?

Stop your whining... You wanted to help... And this is the last time... we'll be observing Scar... After this... There are others...

Otalp scowled. Even to his own brother, Ripper was still irritatingly cryptic, never giving more than a faint hint to anything. I hope that means I can get on to the Troodon and that one black raptor.

As I said... There are others... New ones...

It was now the dawning of a new era. It was final that Blade would be pack leader. SharpClaw was happy for him and happy that the other raptors agreed with her. As soon as the victory barks deceased, the raptors went back to their normal duties. SharpClaw, meanwhile stayed with Blade and started to ask him questions. "Where are the others? Where are Exile and Rawhide? Are they alright?"

Crusher continued to take the unconscious Shadow with him. after a while, he was starting to feel hungry...and thirsty. he thought "only one way to get a meal while carrying Shadow with me....scavange....ukh...well, i guess it's better than nothing". he followed his nose to a dead Stegosaur. he went and put Shadow down, then pinned him down by the tail with one of his massive clawed toes, and started eating. after nearly skeletonizing it, he stopped, and picked Shadow up, and looked for a clean water source. he found it a few kilometers further to the south. he again pinned Shadow to the ground, and drank. after taking care of that, he continued...

Rampage woke up to the sound of squeaking. she looked up, and there was little Rox hopping up and down in front of Hunter's mouth. Rampage growled "Come here Rox...Come here". Rox xame to her grandmother, and started chirping "can i go get something to eat? like you did? pleeeeeeaaaaaaaase?". Rampage growled "Not now, Rox. it's too dangerous. wait until daybreak, and your parents will get you something to eat". Rox squeaked "i want to chase something". Rampage looked at her granddaughter, and growled "That can be arranged". she got up, and growled "Stay with your parents. i'll try and catch you something fun to chase". she went off, looking for a thing for Rox to play with, while Rox herself got nice and close between her parents...

Name: Bronx
Age: 12
Species: Baryonyx
Length: 22 ft
Height: 9 ft
Weight: Aprox. 3.8 tons
Personality: Cynical, Deceptive, Manipulative, Sadistic and Cruel
Description: Dark blue body, head and tail, and a pale white chest

Bronx stood in the river current, waiting for a fish of sufficient size to come by. He waited patiently, and again silently cursed the Suchomimus pair that had pushed him further downstream a few years ago. Ever since they had appeared here, the fish gotten more scarce, and with the Spinos fishing at the source they were hard enough to find as it was. Scavenging was always an option, but he preferred fresh fish to rotting meat.

As soon as Bronx spotted a fish nearing him, he stayed still and as soon as it came near, he struck out with his clawed hands, pulled it out of the water and snapped it up. It was the first food since earlier that day, thanks again to the Suchomimuses upstream.

While Bronx readied himself for another fish, he heard the sound of footfalls. And from the smell of it, a Tyrannosaur. How he loathed the Tyrannosaurs, conceited and intrusive short-snouts they were. But as he heard the lumbering brute approach, his mind came up with a plan. Perhaps I can rid myself of the Suchos, he thought. Quickly, Bronx readied himself for the oncoming Tyrannosaur...

Blade looked at SharpClaw. "Don't worry, Scar, Rawhide and Exile should be on there way back here with Jade. They should be here any day now." He noticed SharpClaw staring off into the distance, preoccupied with her thoughts. She was obviously missing RawHide.

He left her outside, and walked into the cave. All the raptors were getting on with their daily business now, the hysteria had subsided. He watched them for a bit as they called to eachother, running to and fro, nuzzling their loved ones who had survived the ordeal they had been put through.

Blade soon settled down to sleep. He closed his eyes, and found himself drifting off. He hoped the others would return soon. Scar must be happy if they had found Jade. He hoped they had. Scar wouldn't be his normal self otherwise. He didn't show it much... but he did love Jade. And then there was Rawhide. SharpClaw was obviously missing him. She hadn't seen him for quite a while now. Then there was Exile.... "Exile..." He thought to himself. After meeting her again in the jungle a while back, he had never been apart from her. She had always been there, showing him things which he didn't know, helping him understand how the pack worked. And now she was gone. It had only been just over a week, but there was still a whole inside him that was aching to be filled.

The sound of footsteps brought Blade back to conciousness. A raptor was coming in from outside, trying to find a comfortable place to sleep. Blade shook his head. His thoughts seemed to have a mind of their own recently...

after 2 days of walking, Crusher finally arrived at the destination. he put the unconscious Shadow on the ground, and moved a rock in the way of the only easy entrance to this little valley that he had come to. being the most dominant, he'd be able to get through the more difficult paths unharmed, but Shadow would need alot of luck and speed to be able to get past the predators that blocked the path. he turned towards the only other exit to the valley, and started walking. he'd kill himself a Stegosaurus while he was here...and get a drink from the river nearby...

Rampage had arrived at the plains, and saw a herd of sleeping Gallis. she snuck out, being careful not to wake them. just as she arrived at the center, where the juveniles were sleeping, an alarm cry rang out. she quickly lunged for the smallest Galli there, only slightly bigger than Rox, and broke one of it's legs, as the herd stampeded around her. she picked up the wounded gall, and took it back to the nest, and then growled "Rox...here's your target...chase it". Rox jumped around her wounded opponent, and chirped and growled at it, as it struggled to get away. after a bit of chasing, Rox went straight for the head, and bit down on it, crushing the skull with her strong, needle sharp teeth and killing it instantly. she started to eat, and Rampage noticed that Hunter and Lightning had been watching...

When Bronx saw the Tyrannosaur, he was not amazed, even though it was 80 feet long and 30 feet tall. He felt more irritated than anything. What is it doing here? he thought. This is our territory, not his. He should be in his own territory. Nevertheless, he went forward. Bronx's plan hinged on how whether or not both of the Suchomimuses were there.

Now what to lie to him about? Bronx didn't know much about the Rexes, really, but he knew that Thrasher had been killed because Crusher's father had been killed by Thrasher, so family was likely important to them. Threatening his family would probably get him going. Tyrannosaur! He barked as the Rex came near. I heard that a Suchomimus upstream is planning on attacking your mate!

Crusher looked at the Bary that had called to him. he growled "And why should i believe you? most of you Fish eaters have tried lying to me before. give me one good reason why i shouldn't just rip you in half and keep going?". he was very suspiscious about this Bary. somehow, it had an unpleasant atmosphere about it that made him feel like there was something wrong...something...evil about it. granted, the fish eaters were always evil when the target was a Rex...but this one...this one was different....it was worse...or atleast, that's what he felt when he came close to it.

Because, Bronx growled, trying to think of another lie, Tyrannosaur, I know what you can do. So long as idiots like the Sucho are willing to avenge a long-dead monster like Thrasher, neither of our species can really be safe. Besides, you're 4 times my size and 3 times my height. I'm a piscivore and a scavenger, you're a carnivore that actively prey around my size. Your jaws are short and good for crushing, while all I have are these claws. I wouldn't stand a chance against you and I'd be an idiot to try to hurt you, or even lie to you. He hoped that the Tyrannosaur would go soon. If it got too to suscpicous, then it would probably just go ahead and kill him...

What about the raptor/Troodon battle?

I see that the raptor's not coming, so decide to take a walk. I smell a T-rex near a Baryonyx by the river. I turn in the opposite direction, and begin to stalk a herd of Heterdontosaurus(I consider Abdrictosaurus to be a female heter). I spot one near the edge f the group, but I step on a twig. The sentry hears it, and the herd runs away. I chase my target, but it's no use; they're too far ahead of me.

there isn't a troodon/raptor battle......it's a long story [30-40 pages long]. basically, your one of the stars in the RPG now, thanks to that little mention of your character. start making something interesting up!

Crusher cocked his head to the side slightly. the Baryonyx seemed strange...and he had a bad feeling about it. but he'd go along with it....for now. he growled "Firstly, although it's true that im larger, stronger and builkier than you, i dont like people who compliment me to get close...you may end up getting killed that way. As for this Suchomimus, where is it? if it even exists..."

The Tyrannosaur was convinced. Perfect. It's living upstream from here. Just follow the river, it will lead you there. And those weren't compliments, Tyrannosaur, it is the truth-if you become irritated with me, you could quite easily kill me before I could draw blood from you, and that is why it would be foolish for anyone to lie to you at all.

After Bronx finished, he waded over to the opposite bank and lied down. There were ideas that needed to be sorted through, option to consider, pawns to manipulate. Lying his head on his claws, he began to think...
